Learning Priority: Increasing ability to cope with change.

Mazen, You are such an amazing boy settling so well mashaAllah. I know it’s hard to settle in a
new environment. I remember you used to throw yourself on the floor and kick everyone and
everything if something wasn’t in your liking. But you are trying hard to co-operate with the
teachers and with other children. MashaAllah you improved a lot and I can see that you are
making an effort to understand and follow teachers instructions.
Mazen, you have started to build friendship with other children. You proofed that when you
were engaged in playing/ building with the wooden blocks in our construction area. It was a
massive block structure spread around the classroom. Lots of children joined to help the
construction activities. With the blocks other resources were being added too. I was so pleased
to see that you were playing so nicely alongside the other children. You didn’t need to
communicate as much as you are still developing you communication skills in English. However
you were enjoying and having great time playing with them.
You were showing your creativity skills by adding a variety of resources into the structure. You
were fascinated about the traffic signs and added those too. I was pleased to see the way you
were concentrating to line up all the traffic signs beautifully to make it look interesting. Mazen it
was great seeing you play alongside with your peers.
