Preparations are well underway
for the 2010 Hoppings (the Race

I am proud and pleased to have served a year as Lord Mayor
of the City of Newcastle upon Tyne. I am exceptionally pleased
that in this year there has been a historic change which I
believe will sustain the Freemen for a further Millennium, the
