Precautions
1. Do not expose the camera to moisture, dusty, dirty or sandy conditions.
Exposing the camera or the lens to these conditions can damage the
camera and its components.

2. Do not expose the camera to high or low temperatures.


The normal operating temperature of the camera is 0ºC to 40ºC
(32F to 104F).
High temperatures can shorten the life span of electronics devices.
Note: Extreme temperatures can be achieved inside of a car
parked in direct sunlight.

3. Do not mistreat the camera. Dropping, sudden impact and vibrations


can cause damage to the camera.

4. Do not clean the camera with chemicals such as cleaning solutions


or detergents. Only a damp cloth or the microfibre cloth provided
should be used.

5. Before using the camera, please format the memory cards in the
camera or on a computer to avoid potential camera or card
malfunctions. Memory cards should be formatted regularly to avoid
potential camera or card malfunctions.

6. There is a layer of plastic film on the LCD screen and the lens, this
intended to prevent any scratching during transportation. Removing the
protective film from the screen is optional for the user.

Introduction to the Dash Camera
The PC needs to meet the following requirements:
• Windows Vista/XP/7/8/10 operating systems
• Intel Premium 4 2.8GHz CPU or above (recommended 3GHz)
• At least 512MB RAM or above (recommended 1GB)
• Standard USB 2.0 port or above
• At least 64MB video card or above

Operation
1. Inserting a MicroSD card
Insert a MicroSD card meeting specifications listed on www.4WDsupacentre.com.au

2. Turning on your Camera


Press Power button to turn ON / OFF the camera. Or connect to the car charger
directly; the camera will turn on automatically when it receives 5v USB power.

3. Setting Language
Long press UP for Menu, then press UP & DOWN buttons to select LANGUAGE, set
preferred language (Default: English) then press OK button to confirm.

4. Setting Date and Time


Long press UP for Menu, then press UP & DOWN buttons to select TIME SETUP, set
time (year/month/day – hour : minute : second) then press OK button to confirm.

5. Recycle Settings (Loop Recording)


Long press UP for Menu, the press UP & DOWN buttons to select RECYCLE, set
recycle rate (Off / 1min / 3min / 5min).

OFF MODE:
• The device won’t record automatically and won’t recycle recordings.
• Maximum length of each recorded video file is 3.66GB. When it reaches the
maximum, the recording is automatically split and saved as another file.
• If the storage space is full, previous files will NOT be deleted, screen will show
“Card full” and recording will NOT continue.
1/3/5MIN MODE:
• When power is supplied to the camera the device will start
recording automatically.
• If the storage space if full, the oldest saved file will be overwritten.

6. How to set stamps for: Date, Speed, GPS and Driver number
Long press UP for Menu, the press UP & DOWN buttons to select
DATE STAMP, to toggle On / Off.
Long press UP for Menu, the press UP & DOWN buttons to select
SPEED STAMP, to toggle On / Off.
Long press UP for Menu, the press UP & DOWN buttons to select
GPS STAMP, to toggle On / Off.
Long press UP for Menu, the press UP & DOWN buttons to select
DRIVER NUMBER, to set a driver number which will appear on the stamp.

Taking & Reviewing Pictures & Video
HOW TO TAKE A PICTURE:
While the camera is recording, Long press OK button to take a picture
When on standby, long press OK button to take a picture

HOW TO START RECORDING:


When the camera is in 1/3/5min mode, it will start automatically when power is applied.
Press the OK button to toggle video recording.

HOW TO REVIEW PICTURES:


Long press DOWN button to go into CAMERA MODE, then long press DOWN button
again to go into FILE REVIEW and select PHOTO.

HOW TO PLAY BACK VIDEO:


Long press DOWN button to go into CAMERA MODE, then long press DOWN button
again to go into FILE REVIEW and select NORMAL or PARKING

LOCKING FILES WHILE RECORDING:


Press the DOWN button and the current file will be saved and locked. This file can no
longer be deleted by the camera.

Connecting your Camera


CONNECTING TO PC
Connect the Camera to the PC using the USB cable included. Select the option MSDC
on the camera and it will appear as a removable disk.

CONNECTING THE DVR TO A STANDARD TV. (Effective with AV-OUT function)


Connect your camera and Standard TV with an AV cable

CONNECTING THE DVR TO HDTV


When connecting to a HDTV, use HDMI cable to connect the camera and send
video to the HDTV.

How to access GPS information
1. Connect the Camera to the PC using the USB cable included. Select the
option MSDC on the camera and it will appear as a removable disk.

2. Open folder to view files

3. GPS coordinates will be saved in “gps” folder

4. Open a GPS reader website. (Eg. www.gpsvisualizer.com)

5. Upload your GPS file onto the site

6. The website will display the route.

Toubleshooting
PROBLEMS WITH Long press UP for Menu, then press UP &
RECORDING QUALITY DOWN buttons to select DEFAULT SETTINGS,
OK button to confirm. Restart Device

STUCK IN MENU Repeat Long press DOWN until returned to the


default ‘recording screen’.

NOT RECOGNIZING CARD Ensure card has been formatted and is compatible.

all manufacturing defects.

What does the warranty cover?

c. We will either repair or replace the product at our discretion providing


that the fault is found to have been caused by a design or manufacturing

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the
Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for
a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable
loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or
replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure
does not amount to a major failure. The benefits provided to you as the
consumer by this warranty are in addition to other rights and remedies
available to you under the law.

The warranty does not cover:
a. Any damage resulting from improper use
b. Faulty installation or modification made during installation
c. The cost of removing and reinstalling the product
d. Travel and /or other expenses due to customer’s remote location
e. Transport charges and damage in transit. It is your responsibility to
deliver and pick up your product, including any costs associated with
the postage of your repair or replacement product. If you do freight your
product we recommend that you insure against loss or damage.
f. Any loss directly or indirectly associated with the product failing
to operate.
