Jazz’s Ice Drop is a business enterprise solely-owned by Malou Mendoza Caliliw located at Purok

4, Rosario, Santiago City. The enterprise derives its income from the production and sales of ice drops
through direct sales and sales to other sellers and merchandisers.

The enterprise currently uses a manual processing system in the keeping of records of
production and sales. A manual system is used to keep track of inventory, its inflow and outflow.

Electronic records and processing of data are being used nowadays through the use of
computer. Implementing this type of data processing reduce errors of the processing of data itself that
are made when doing it manually. It also tends to increase the accuracy of the records and its efficiency
of keeping it as well.

The enterprise has a relatively large volume of production and sales that makes it rather difficult
to use manual processing system. To aid in the inventory record-keeping of the enterprise, a solution is
presented to the problems aforementioned in the form of a system created for the inventory record-
keeping of Jazz’z Ice Drop.
