DOP-250 offer unmatched performance
with a capacity in excess of 30 and 100 cubic
metres per hour. They can develop
discharge pressures up to 10 bar while
maintaining nearly maximum flow over a
full range of light or heavy liquids.

They are capable of handling products
ranging from water to oil with viscosities in
excess of 1,000,000 cSt even when heavily
contaminated with debris. DOP pumps can
pull a deep suction in excess of 5 m once
primed.
Unlike any other pump they have proved
that they can swallow slugs of water while
pumping extremely viscous fluids without
losing prime.

SKIM/RO-BOOM® skimming barrier system.
The DOP-250 can be incorporated in the
DESMI TERMINATOR weir skimmer for
recovery of oil floating on water, the
TERMINATOR is one of the most versatile
and high performance skimmers available.
The DOP-160 is fitted as standard in the
TERMITE skimmer. DESMI screw pumps have
been used in virtually all major spills for
over 20 years.
The pumps are supplied as standard options
with Aeroquip or ТЕМА couplings for the
hydraulic supply. A variety of discharge
connections are available in 4, 5 or 6 inch.
The pump can be supplied with flange
fittings for in-line use. If the pump becomes
clogged the operator simply reverses the
direction of the screw and "spits out" the
debris.
To ensure the pumps are as lightweight as
possible the pump casing is in seawater
resistant aluminium, with AISI 316 stainless
steel casing and plate wheel as an option
for the DOP-250. This version should be
specified and fitted for permanent
installations, abrasive or corrosive
conditions and in-line transfer
pump/chemical applications.
