God has been in this outreach program, in giving such strength

and guidance to accomplish program. I would like to thank and
extend my profound gratitude to those people became part of
this program.

MR. KIEL AMBROCIO, my subject teacher who gave his valuable

guidance for his worthy advice and warm support during the
implementation of the OUTREACH PROGRAM.

Finally, I wishes to express my unending thanks to my girlfriend

and her sister who made sacrifies, financial and moral support
which made this outreach program a successful one.

DEDICATION

My family and friends who helped with the mundane activities of

daily living valuable guidance for her worthy advice and warm
support during the implementation of our outreach program.

And to our teacher who allowed us to write and construct an

action paper and who support and give us strength and
encouragement in all of the endeavors.

To our Almighty GOD who always protecting and guiding us in

our daily living.

To all who mentioned above for without you this action plan will
not be successful one.
 INTRODUCTION

National Service Training Program (NSTP) is a program aimed at

enhancing civil consciousness and defense preparedness in the
youth by developing the ethics of service and patriotism while
undergoing training in any of its three program components. Its
various components are specially designed to enhance youth’s
active contribution to the general welfare.

MANILA BOYS TOWN COMPLEX is a 23-hectare, non-profit

organization orphanage for the homeless, abandoned, forgotten,
and voluntarily surrendered children, teenagers, and senior
citizens in Manila. It is a place where abandoned people are cared
for and homed. There are kids and teenagers in that orphanage.
Most of them are abandoned by their parents and some were left
by their families. This kind of non-profit organization can help an
abandoned person feel the care and unconditional love even
though they are not blood related. They provide the needs,
guidance and counselling of an individual.
 ACHIEVEMENT

The goal of this program is to help those people in Manila Boys

town Complex. As a group, we conducted a simple yet
appreciative activity for the children to make them happy and
show their sweet smiles. This is to help and give them inspiration
to keep going in life. We want them to feel that even though they
aren’t with their families they can still feel the love and enjoy
their lives. With that activity or games they were able to interact,
participate, collaborate and work as a team. Eventually, the
program became successful and saw their sweet smiles to us.

NARRATIVE REPORT

Last March 8 (Thursday), 2018, the NSTP students of ACCESS

Cubao Branch conducted an “Outreach Program”. It Lasted for
2hours 10:00am to 12:00pm. The so called outreach program
was held at Manila Boys town Complex in Marikina City and our
target crowd was the children on that orphanage.

All of us gathered there to distribute the assigned areas. Some of

us were assigned to take pictures for the documentation, some
were also assigned for the parlor games and feeding program. On
every parlor games, all children was active to participate on what
the emcee will tell them to do. They were so active and easy to
bond with. At the middle of the activities the NSTP student
distributed the food for the children and also assists them while
they are eating. While assisting the children you will see and be
overwhelmed seeing a face satisfied with the activities and food
we offered them. The simple smile that they gave us was so
 heart whelming. After that, you will see that they learned and
enjoyed the activities. They were so happy with all the activities
not only the children but also the members and also us the
student. We are blessed to see and also to have given chance to
help children in these orphanage using the program like this. We
are also thankful knowing that we are the reason why they are
blessed and feel loved on that day.

REFLECTION

That day was a very bright sunny day, but thanks to the
administration of that orphanage to make the program successful.
You can see in their eyes that they are happy with the program.
With the help of our loving subject instructor Mr. KIEL
AMBROCIO, we make the program successful. I learned that
even in a simple way like this you can make the children in that
orphanage happy. With this kind of unity we can help them
already. Seeing their faces with the smile can erase the problems
you have for a while. I also learned that in this kind of simple
program touches their hearts already and feel the love. This will
serve as a very greatful experience to us.
