EFI SYSTEM
ORIGIN: One of the pioneers in creating and using this electronic injection system
was the most recognized automotive company in the world (BOSCH).
REMEMBER: The injection systems arose previously with the mechanical injection.
After these appeared the so-called electromechanical systems based their operation
on an electronically assisted mechanical injection, passing in a last stage has been
the emergence of 100% electronic systems.
OBJECTIVE: THE ELECTRONIC INJECTION SYSTEM, aims to provide the engine
with better performance with more savings, in all operating regimes.
In order for the engine to operate smoothly, economically, and does not pollute the
environment, it needs to receive a perfect air / fuel mixture at all levels of rotation.
A GOOD
ESTEQUIOMETRIC
INJECTION.
ADVANTAGE:
Less pollution.
Greater economy.
Better engine performance.
Faster starts.
Better use of fuel.
Reduce the emission of polluting gases.
A good stoichiometric relationship.
EXAMPLES OF ELECTRONIC INJECTION SYSTEMS:
ELECTRONIC INJECTION TYPE MULTIPOINT: Uses one injection valve for each
engine cylinder.
ELECTRONIC INJECTION TYPE SINGLE POINT: It uses a single injection valve for
the different cylinders of the engine.
LE-JETRONIC SYSTEM: is electronically controlled and sprays the fuel into the
intake manifold. Its function is to supply the exact volume for the different speed
regimes.
FLEX FUEL SYSTEM: The Flex Fuel Bosch system is capable of automatically
recognizing and adapting engine management functions for any mixing ratio of
alcohol and gasoline in the tank.

UNA BUENA
RELACIÓN
ESTEQUIÓMETRICA
VENTAJAS:
IDLE
CIRCUIT
OBJECTIVE: this system allows to stabilize the idling speed of the engine, during
cold starts and after operating conditions after a warm-up period for a better
performance and vehicle operation.

GOOD
PROGRAMMED
FUEL INJECTION
The sensors pick up the various signals on the motor, then send it to the ECU. The
ECU receives these signals and determines the injection schedule, that is, the
amount and time of injection.
SUBSYSTEM:
AIR / FUEL RATIO: The objective of this programmed subsystem is that the engine
achieves a good stoichiometric ratio (14.7: 1), is that, the air / fuel mixture is neither
so rich nor so poor and thus reduce emissions of polluting gases.
BASIC COMPONENTS OF SCHEDULED FUEL INJECTION:
ECU / ECM (Electronic Control Unit): This is the "Computer / Brain" of the engine, it
is the main component that through input signals of various sensors distributed at
strategic points, the ECU sends output signals so that the actuators perform their
function.
SENSORS: They are responsible for monitoring the operation of the motor and
sending signals (voltage or resistance values) to the ECU, so that, via the received
data, it sends response signals to the actuators and adjusts the motor operation for
optimum performance. These signals can be digital or analog.Examples:
CKP SENSOR.
TPS SENSOR.
ECT SENSOR.
MAP SENSOR.
MAF SENSOR.
ACTUATORS: They are the ones in charge of executing (acting) according to the
signal that sent the ECU to him. For example, the ECU determines the opening time
of the injector (Actuator) as a function of the input data.

FUEL: Fuel is a material that by its properties is often burned to produce heat and
energy. It is very indispensable for the operation of a vehicle for the displacement.
COMBUSTIBLE Y EMISIONES
CO (monóxidos de carbono), CO2 (dióxido de carbono), y NOx (óxidos nitrosos);
