Indus Water Treaty (IWT) (Salient Features)

 Signed in 1960 at Karachi.

 Brokered by World Bank.

 3 Eastern Rivers given to India (Beas, Ravi, Sutlej)

 3 Western Rivers given to Pakistan (Indus, Chenab, Jehlum)

 Both countries to share regular flow-data of rivers, canals and streams

 Bilateral Issues to be settled through International Court of Arbitration

If India revokes IWT, Pakistan could seek assistance from the United
Nations and the International Court of Justice.
