Your’s Truly,

ANTONIO DORIO TORRES

Proprietor
Hi, Arch Benny

A pleasant day to you.

Thank you for taking my call earlier. As discussed over the phone, attached is ADTorres' revised
proposal for the demolition of the house. The scope are as follows:

1. Processing of demolition permit

2. Demolition of house (scrap sales shall be under the ownership of the demolition contractor)
3. Clearing and hauling of debris (up to ground zero - floor slab will be left)

As mentioned, the reason why their initial proposal was high ( inclusive of 2m depth excavation) is
that they will be outsourcing the excavation services to a specialty contractor and will be filing for
an excavation permit. Since ADTorres specialty is demolition and not excavation, I suggest you
consider to award the excavation to your gencon as part of their scope of works or consider hiring
a excavation trade contractor directly to save cost. By packaging the excavation works with the
general civil works contractor, you will be in a better position to haggle costs as they will also be
considering the other scope of works assigned to them when they submit their proposed
discounted prices. If you go with the latter proposal which is awarding the excavation directly to
an excavation trade contractor, the demolition contractor's overhead and mark up costs will be
eliminated thus you will be only charged by the excavation contractor's actual cost. excavation should be
included to advance soil
Feel free to call my attention for any clarification or questions regarding the proposal.testing

Thanks
