Feasibility Study
San Ramon Elementary School is a public school located at Manfil, Canlubang, Calamba
City, Laguna. Before, the school has no computer laboratory but because of the
technology now, computer help the students to their research project and many more.

The network cable was installed in 2008. As the technology continuously evolve, the
demand and the importance of computer runs faster. Companies and even organization
hires many employees to manage their data networks. They are the one who is
responsible to build, maintain, expanded, optimized, and in troubleshoot workstation.

There are many old cables used in the network that’s why the flow of the data is very
slow and that is the problem in their computer laboratory. We suggest to replaced their
old cables into a new one to prevent from the delay of the flow of the data.

a.) Situation in which project exist

Below are the images inside the computer laboratory and also the situations of the
network and the different locations of the switch that are unordered bulk of cables and it
needs to upgrade.

b.) Network Scope
As we can see, their computers are all old version. Because the school is the center of
development, we suggest to upgrade their computers into the latest version to become
more convenient, to every user of their computer laboratory.

c.) Objectives of the Network

We all know that network is very important in school. Below are the following objectives
of it.

 To help students use the computer as a tool for higher-level thinking and research
projects.
 To help teachers and students blend technology into their already existing
curriculum.
 To provide the necessary technological skills needed for students to be successful
in the 21st Century.
  To train teachers and students to become fluent with technology in order to
facilitate student learning.
 To provide another tool for differentiated student/teacher learning styles.
