Based on the novel you have studied, write about a character that you want to

imitate. Support your answer with evidence from the text.

First of all, I want to imitate Newton as he demonstrates

a responsible attitude towards family.

For instance, Newt has decided to take over his mother’s

routine preparing breakfast for their family because she is
always busy answering phone calls in the morning until one
morning she has poured milk into a bowl filled with strips of
raw turkey.

In short, I think we too should be able to lend a hand to

our parents when they are busy with their work.

Next, I choose to imitate him because he has a positive

attitude that is willing to help others

For example, he sends Mr. Clay home after (pg. 87)

Based on the above evidence that I have provided, I believe

that Newton Newman is the correct choice of character that
I want to imitate.
