April Mission: UMCOR

During the month of April, the United Methodist Women will be collecting monetary donations for the
United Methodist Committee on Relief (UMCOR). Funds will be used to purchase specific supplies for
hygiene kits that provide basic necessities to people who have been forced to leave their homes due to
natural disasters or human conflict.
A nonprofit agency of the United Methodist Church, UMCOR reaches worldwide to provide relief. The
organization is designed such that 100% of all donations are channeled directly to the earmarked project
or relief effort.
Look for a donation jar in church, or designate UMCOR on your contribution to place in the offering
plate. Donations can also be made electronically via text or web link listed on back of this newsletter.

Serve in Worship
As part of the body of Christ, we all have gifts and talents. If your gifts include any of the following, we would
love to invite you to share what God has given you with the St. Andrew’s congregation. We are always looking for
individuals willing to serve as readers, communion servers, choir members, handbell ringers, and
musicians/vocalists for the praise band. If any of these service opportunities fall within your ministry gifts,
