The mainstream media actively promoted global warming, then effectively ig-
nored evidence of C O RRU P T C L I M A TE S C I EN C E , and essentially ignored the
whitewash investigations of the activities of members of the Climatic Research
Unit ( CRU ) and members of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change
( IPCC ).

They promoted Al Gore ’s movie « An In convenien t Tru th » , yet ignored the

evidence of M A J OR S C I EN TI FI C ER RO RS .

They quickly condemned Martin Durkin ’s documentary « The Gre at Glob al

War ming S windle » because of one small error on a graph. Durkin withheld
the DVD until the error was corrected.

Al Gore ’s movie is still shown U N C OR R EC TED in most schools, although a United

Kingdom court ordered the government to have teachers advise students of the
B I A S A N D ER R ORS .

It appears little has changed in the schools. Some teachers are giving both
sides of the story, but they appear to be the exception. But why would a
teacher change or be willing to present both sides ?
Governments continue to push the arguments based on the Intergovernmental
Panel on Climate Change ( IPCC ) research. They were C O M P L I C I T in the W HI TE-
W A S H investigations, and need the tax and control Cap and Trade provides.

Most of the change in the schools comes from students who do some investiga-
tion, often triggered by YouTube videos.

In the United Kingdom court case, the student C OM P L A I N ED to his father about
having to watch Gore ’s movie M O R E THA N O N C E .

T HEIR Q UEST IO NS T ELL A TALE

Each week, I receive three or four requests from students doing projects on
global warming. Some come from other countries, but most are from the United
States . Usually they seek answers to written questions. I give answers, but
also attach a list of other sources so they can dig deeper.

Most of the time they are researching the S K EP TI C S ’ V I EW , and I am the chosen
spokesperson. Interestingly, very few requests are from university or science
students. Most are in social studies but a surprising number are doing Eng-
lish essays. One or two tell me their research supports the S K EP TI C S ’ V I EW ,
but most clearly accept the government global warming position, and appear to
be trying to understand why I could have it so wrong. Most have seen Al Gore ’s
movie, but none appear aware of the errors.

A N E XAMPLE

The following is just one example of the type of questions asked with my an-
swers.

The questions are generally typical; however number three is particularly inter-
esting.

It isn’t clear if the student is aware of the complexity of the associated ideas.

My answers are in italics, and cursory but provide my view. I expect the stu-
dent to pursue these ideas with the web sites provided.
DO YOU BEL IEVE THAT GLOBAL WAR MING IS CAU SED BY MANK IND ?

No.

The cl ai m is that human prod uced C O 2 is the c ause of war ming.

The problem is we produce such a minuscule amo un t relative to n atu-

ral pr oduction that i t is i mpossible to de tec t i t within the crud e
measures of these sources.

For example, the amount we produc e is less th an the e rror of the es-
ti mate f or thr ee natur al source s, in c luding the oc eans, soils, and ro t-
tin g vegetation.

More i mpor tant, it is assu med th at an incre ase i n CO 2 resul ts in an

incre ase in temperature.

Every rec ord shows that exac tly th e opposi te h appe ns.

A RE GLOBAL WARM ING AND CL IM ATE CHANGE THE SAME TH ING ?

Yes and no.

Glob al war ming is one type of cli ma te change .

When te mper atures beg an to declin e in 2 001, and CO 2 co n tinue d to

incre ase, they stopped talking about war ming and beg an talkin g
abou t cli mate change.

This then allowed them to poin t at any ch ang e, an d cl aim i t was

cau sed by human activity.

W HAT ROLE DO NATURAL FORCE S PLAY

IN THE CURRENT GLOBAL WARM ING TREND ?

All the war ming over time, and n o w, is c aused by n atur al f orces,
pri marily the sun.

Even the Intergov ernmental Pane l o n Cli mate C h ange ( IPCC ) ad mi t

th at warming up to about 19 50 was over 50% due to the s un.
Since then, they s ay, wi th 90% c ertain ty, th at hu man CO 2 is the
cau se.

Variat ions in solar act ivity and cosm ic rays correlate to tem-
perature much bet ter than CO 2 . T his may be bec ause an
electro-magnet ically ac tive sun d iver ts co smic r ays from hit -
ting the atmosphere. Cosm ic rays h ave been shown exp eri-
mentally to assist in cloud format ion. Fewer cosmic rays re-
sult in reduced low cloud co ver , which allows more sunl ight
to warm the E arth ’s surface .

The United Nations−I PCC reports h ave been misreprese nted

by the non-scie nt ific I PCC bureau crat s in prep aring the Sum-
mary-for-Po licy -Makers.

Recent re search c ast s doubt on hist orical d ata u sed by the

IPCC. Urb an e ffect s have cont aminat ed surface temperature
data. Some measured CO 2 level s of the past 180 years ap -
pear to be in ex cess of pre sent le vels. Curre nt climate com-
puter models are unsuitable for making reliable climate
forecast s mainly because they assum e without just if icat ion
that CO 2 is the major driver of c limate. The co smic r ay ef-
fects on clouds are ignored . The input assumptio ns are ad -
justed to make the temperature pr ojectio ns match re cent
temperature trends, thereby grossly exagger ating the effect s
of CO 2 on the cl imate . The models, in response to CO 2 , pre -
dict a distinct ive temperature profile in the atmosphere,
which is total ly abse nt from the obse rvat ional record .
