· Engaged each student in every lesson ensuring that their needs were meet by creating the necessary
accommodations outlined in their individual education plan.

· Designed classroom to create a warm, welcoming environment to promote engagement and learning for students
as well as devised unique ways to display unit specific content
· Developed and executed differentiated lessons in inclusion and self- contained American government and United
States history using the universal design for learning (UDL) framework in order to engage every student while
considering their individual educational needs; Supported in Functional Academic Learning Support Program (FALS)
and Communication and Learning Support Program (CLS) classrooms
· Created individual progress reports and conducted student check-ins to ensure academic progression and to foster
stronger student relationships
