Greetings Wildcat Staff!

Welcome to the 2017-2018 school year. It is with great privilege that I will be completing
my administrative internship at West Edgecombe Middle School (WEMS). I am currently
pursuing my degree in school administration as a student in NC State’s Northeast Leadership
Academy.

During my time with Edgecombe County Public Schools (ECPS), I served as the band
director and music teacher at C.B. Martin Middle School/Martin Millennium Academy. Prior to
teaching with ECPS, I taught in the public schools of New York. I received my bachelor’s degree
from SUNY Fredonia and master’s degree from Kent State University. Outside of education, I
enjoy playing music, trying to fish and spending time with my wife.

I am looking forward to collaborating and building relationships with the staff, students,
parents and community of WEMS. We all have a responsibility to work together to maximize the
educational success of our students. I believe that each student has the potential to overcome
barriers and work towards their fullest academic potential. While serving as a resource for all
students and staff, I hope to grow alongside you as we work towards fulfilling the 2017-2018
ECPS theme of “Leading with our Head, Heart and Hands.”

This year will provide all of us with new learning experiences and growth opportunities
that I know will be enriched by the relationships we form. Please do not hesitate to reach out to
me for any reason. I am here to support you in any capacity that I can. Thank you in advance for
