Multiplication of a number with 9′s!!

✅ In this type of multiplication, the multiplier (9′s) and the multiplicand should have equal
number of digits.

Example 1 : 23 * 99
Step 1:
Subtract 23 by 1
23 - 1 = 22
Step 2:
The complement of 23 ( 100 - 23 ) is 77
Step 3:
The answer is 2277
✅ 23 * 99 = 2277

Example 2 : 343 * 999

Step 1:
Subtract 343 by 1
343 - 1 = 342
Step 2:
The complement of 343 ( 1000 - 343 ) is 657
Step 3:
The answer is 342657
✅ 343 * 999 = 342657

Example 3 : 4143 * 9999

Step 1:
Subtract 4143 by 1
4143 - 1 = 4142
Step 2:
The complement of 4143 ( 10000 - 4143 ) is 5857

Easy method for dividing any number by 5 !!

Dividing a large number by five is actually very simple. All you do is multiply by 2 and move
the decimal point :

Example 1 : 295 / 5
Step 1:
295 * 2 = 590
Step 2:
Move the decimal: 59.0
295 / 5 = 59

Example 2 : 3978 / 5
Step 1:
3978 * 2 = 7956
Step 2:
Move the decimal: 795.6
3978 / 5 = 795.6

Example 3 : 5000 / 5
Step 1:
5000 * 2 = 10000
Step 2:
Move the decimal: 1000.0
5000 / 5 = 1000

Example 4 : 6011 / 5
Step 1:

Step 2:
Move the decimal: 1202.2
6011 / 5 = 1202.2

Example 5 : 123456 / 5
Step 1:
123456 * 2 = 246912
Step 2:
Move the decimal: 24691.2

Easy Multiplication Tricks !!

Multiply by 5:
Multiply by 10 and divide by 2.
Example : 25 * 5
25 * 10 = 250
250 / 2 = 125
25 * 5 = 125

Multiply by 6:
Sometimes multiplying by 3 and then 2 is easy.
Example : 31 * 6
31 * 3 = 93
93 * 2 = 186
31 * 6 = 186

Multiply by 9:
Multiply by 10 and subtract the original number.
Example : 201 * 9
201 * 10 = 2010

2010 - 201 = 1809
201 * 9 = 1809

Multiply by 12:
Multiply by 10 and add twice the original number.
Example : 133 * 12
133 * 10 = 1330
133 * 2 = 266
1330 + 266 = 1596
133 * 12 = 1596

Multiply by 13:
Multiply by 3 and add 10 times original number.
Example : 153 * 13
153 * 3 = 459
153 * 10 = 1530
1530 + 459 = 1989
153 * 13 = 1989

Multiply by 14:
Multiply by 7 and then multiply by 2
Example : 213 * 14
213 * 7 = 1491
1491 * 2 = 2982
213 * 14 = 2982

Multiply by 15:
Multiply by 10 and add 5 times the original number, as above.
Example : 311 * 15
311 * 10 = 3110
311 * 5 = 1555
1555 + 3110 = 4665
