 DESCRIBE JOB FUNTION

The company Arturo Calle has seven members: The president, vice president, the
managing director, and the four heads of department.
Arturo Calle is the president of the company and he has a vice president, his son
Carlos Arturo, Lorenzo Martinez is the director and is responsible for four
departments: department accounting Andres Cano, department of treasury
Carolina Zapata, department shopping Camilo Pineda and the department of sales
Ana Lopez.
FUNCTIONS:

THE PRESIDENT: To exercise the legal representation of the company.

VICE PRESIDENT: Is directly related to that of president.

THE MANAGING DIRECTOR: Is that person capable of foreseeing,

organizing, sending, coordinating and controlling the activities of the
organization.

DEPARTMENT ACCOUNTING: Control and analyze accounting and

financial records.

DEPARTMENT OF TREASURY: Management of collections, making

payments to suppliers, control of compliance with banking conditions,
payroll payments.

DEPARTMENT SHOPPING: Ensures that all goods, services and inventory

are ordered and found on time in the warehouses of any company.

DEPARTMENT OF SALES: Is to plan, execute and control activities in this

field.

Hired: The hiring is the realization of a

contract to an individual performing a certain
job or activity.

Example: When I was hired, I started to have

more responsibility

Employee: Person who works for

another or for an institution in
exchange for a salary.

Example: when I was an employee I

Employer: The person who employs is the
employer. It is an intimate concept and

a problem or expulsion.

Example: I got fired for stealing my office

the remuneration that a person

Example: I earn a salary working

Get a pay: Get a payment is the way in

which people give a service and get a
payment.

Example: I get a payment when I work

Raise: Action to increase or

Arturo calle was born on august 13, 1938 in the city of Medellin. The company was
founded in 1965 in the city of Bogotá, its beginnings started with the name of "the
shirt" later changed to “Dante", which later was replaced by his personal name the
company. The company opened for the first time at the mall - Unicentro-Bogotá
