I understand that I am being asked to participate in an undergraduate research study of

Holy Angel University-College of Nursing, to be done by Group2-B, of N-404, entitled
“Impressions of Student Nurses before Exposure to the Field: A Q Methodological
Analysis”. The research study will explore the first year student nurses’ impressions prior
their initial exposure to the clinical field. If I agree to participate in the study, I will
perform the Q-sorting process and undergo an interview which will overall take
approximately 10-15 minutes. The interview will take place within the University
premises. No identifying information will be included when the interview is transcribed. I
understand that I will receive no compensation for participating in the study. There are no
known risks associated with this study.

I realize that I may not participate in the study if I am not a first year nursing student and
if I already had my clinical duty.

I realize that the knowledge gained from this study may either help me or other first year
nursing students in the future

I realize that my participation in this study is entirely voluntary, and I may withdraw from
