Career Objective
I wish to obtain a position in marketing to utilize my knowledge in communicating with
others while engaging an organization with the community. I feel my ability to work reliably in
an office setting while also maintaining confidentiality makes me a well-qualified candidate for
this position.
Education
Work Experience
Fort Memorial Hospital is an inpatient/outpatient hospital that cares for three counties of citizens.
Report to the Marketing Director. Responsibilities include creating marketing materials highlighting
healthy living choices, educating citizens on how to decrease stress levels, creating social media blogs regarding
how to lose weight, and participating in local events to promote Fort HealthCare.
Successfully created a Facebook page to be used by weight loss challenge participants.
Effectively promoted “SlimDown” challenge to local citizens.
Implemented healthy drinking choice to be offered at an on-sight café.
UHCS is an on-campus clinic that serves the health and wellbeing needs of UW-Whitewater students and staff.
Report to the Wellness Educator. Responsibilities include educating peers on how to be physically,
mentally, and socially healthy, find common health concerns among given population via epidemiologic studies,
present on health topics of concerns in classroom settings as needed, and create social media blogs regarding healthy
lifestyle choices.
Successfully led an education of students on the topic of sexually transmitted infections.
Effectively promoted the importance of receiving the Human Papilloma Virus (HPV) vaccine.
State of Wisconsin Department of Health Services Program and Policy Analyst Intern
Madison, Wisconsin 06/2017-09/2017
RRFC is a free health clinic which provides health services to financially burdened citizens of Jefferson County.
Report to the Executive Director. Responsibilities included surveying Jefferson County residents on
emergency centered information, seeking to understand why residents are not using RRFC resources via surveys,
offer tactics to RRFC on how to increase patient volume, and inform RRFC community on the resources they have
to offer.
Effectively uncovered the fact that many residents did not know the clinic existed.
Successfully increased the number of patients visiting RRFC.
Student Organizations
Communicating Health In Practice (CHIP) 09/2016-Present
CHIP is an on-campus organization focused on building health communication skills.
Served as Secretary in 2016-2017 and Treasurer from 2017-Present.
Attended Civic Engagement Conferences across Wisconsin.
