Exam Description
Overview
This exam is a qualifying exam for the Specialist – Systems Administrator,
VPLEX (DECS-SA) track.

This exam focuses on the configuration and management of storage managed by

VPLEX systems. Specifically, the exam encompasses provisioning storage and
working with Consistency Groups and Distributed Volumes and covers VPLEX
architecture, management and monitoring and maintaining the operational aspects
of VPLEX systems. It also covers protecting VPLEX Virtual Volumes with
RecoverPoint and MetroPoint.

Dell EMC provides free practice tests to assess your knowledge in preparation for
the exam. Practice tests allow you to become familiar with the topics and question
types you will find on the proctored exam. Your results on a practice test offer one
indication of how prepared you are for the proctored exam and can highlight topics
