NOTIFICATION

In exercise of the powers conferredby sub-section (1) of section 9 of the

Rajasthan Stamp Act, 1998 (Act No. 14 of 1999), the State Government being of the
opinion that it is expedient in the public interest so to do, hereby orders that stamp
duty chargeable on the instruments of sub-leases of land allotted to or purchased by
Rajasthan Rajya Vidvut
... Prasaran Nigam. Limited executed in favour
. of its subsidiary'"
companies i.e, Barmer Power Transmission Services Limited, Hadoti Power
Transmission Services Limited and That Power Transmission Service Limited, shall .
be reduced and charged at the rate of 0.25% on the market value of the land but
stamp duty already paid shall not be refunded.

This notification shall remain in force upto 3~.03.2018.

NOTIFICATION

In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 9 of the

Rajasthan Stamp Act, 1998 (Act No. 14 of 1999) and in supersession of this
department's notification number F.4(15)FD/Tax/2014-54 dated 14.07.14, as
amended from time to time, the State Government being of the opinion that it is
expedient in public interest so to do, hereby orders that the stamp duty chargeable
on lease deed or sale deed, executed by State Government, Rajasthan Housing
Board, [aipur Development Authority, Jodhpur Development Authority, Ajmer
Development Authority, Urban Improvement Trust, Krishi Upa] Mandi and Mandi
Sarnittee, Cram Panchayat, Panchayat Samittee, Rajasthan Industrial Development &
Investment Corporation (RIICO), Rajasthan State Cooperative Housing Federation
or by any other authority or enterprises of the State Government, in respect of land
allotted or sold by them, shall be reduced and charged as under ;-

NOTIFICATION
In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 9 of the Rajasthan
Stamp Act, 1998 (Act No. 14 of 1999), the State Government being of the opinion that it is
expedient in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following amendment in this
department's notification number F.4(15)FD/Tax/2014-5~ated July 14, 2014, as amended
from time to time, namely:-
AMENDMENT
In the said notification, the existing Note shall be substituted by the following,
namely-
"Note: 1. Stamp duty o~ the lease deed submitted for registrationupto 31.12.2017 after
revalidation by the Local Body shall be calculated on,- .
(i) 115% of the amount charged by the Local Body for regularization of the land
if the proper stamp duty payable at the time of execution of such lease deed
has already been paid.
(ii) 130% of the amount charged by the Local Body for regularization of the land
if the proper stamp Juty payable at the time of execution of such lease deed
has not been paid.
') In no case stamp duty payable on the lease ch~edshall be more than the stamp
duty payable on the market value of the property:"

88 of the Registration Act, 1908 (Central Act No. XVI of 1908), the State Government
hereby directs that it shall not be necessary for the Secretary of a Gram Panchayat,
competent to execute any instrument on behalf of Gram Panchayat, to appear in
person before the Registering Officer in any proceedings connected with the
registration of any instrument executed by him' in' his official capacity.
