Central Institute of Plastics Engineering CIPET Bhopal has been established during

 Role of CIPET in upliftment of socially / Economically Backward Community

Being a Govt. of India organization and an Institute of National excellence, CIPET

plays an important role and discharges its obligation towards the society by imparting
specialized skill oriented training to the weaker sections of the society. Specially
designed training programmes for the unemployed youths of SC, ST, OBC and other
underprivileged sections are regularly being conducted by various CIPET centers
like Ahmedabad, Hajipur, Chennai, Hyde rabad, Mysore & Bhopal.

CIPET Bhopal is regularly organizing these programmes for the benefit of SC / ST

youths of the state of Madhya Pradesh for the last few years. Apart from that skill
development programmes are being conducted for the youths belonging to the
Bhopal Gas Tragedy victims.

All the above training modules are very effective and successful. CIPET Bhopal also
assists them in finding a suitable job in plastics industries located at various parts of
the country. These students are placed in industries situated at Mandideep, Bhopal,
Dam, Ahmedabad, Gandhidham and other places as well. Some of the trainees have
been placed in far east countries like Oman, Kuwait and Saudi Arab ia etc.
