Summary
What went well?
• the variety of activities kept students engaged
• clear concise instructions
• willing to redirect and monitor students around the classroom while working with a small
group (you have to eyes in the back of your head)
• used patience and avoided teacher lust (the inability to resist explanation)
• checked in with students to activate engagement
• gave encouraging words to help students involvement
• good systematic approach to classroom structure and climate
• works well with small groups for individual attention
• had a useful system for incorporating new elements or games into the daily 4 and reminded
students of expectations

Things to think about.

• Do students understand why they are learning about math and specifically multiplication?
