PATTERN STITCHES:
1 x 1 rib:
Round 1: *K1, P1; rep from * around.
Broken Rib:
Round 1: knit round.
Round 2: *K1, P1; rep from * around.
With smaller needles cast on 96 stitches. Place marker (pm) and join to begin working in
the round. Work 1 x 1 rib until piece measures 3 (3.5) inches from cast on edge.
Once ribbing is the desired length, switch to larger needles and work Rounds 1 and 2 of
the Broken Rib until piece measures 7 (7.5) inches from cast on edge, ending with Round
2.
