The Seller guarantee to the Buyer that the Goods delivered under the present Contract will be a Brand
New and correspond to the technical specification stated below (TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION OF
DRILLING RIG EQUIPMENT).

 A copy of final manufacture inspection certificate shall be supplied.
 Free Standing (No guy wires).
 Designed to withstand continuous wind velocity of 75 miles per hour (measured at ground level)
with full set back of drill pipe and without guy wires.
 350 (three hundred fifty) ton hook load with maximum drill lines.
 Capable of racking 3500 m of 5” drill pipe, 300m of HWDP, and 270m of drill collars (30m of 9-
1/2", 180m of 8" and 60m of 6-3/4").
 The monkey board fingers shall have safety chains.
 A belly board shall be available for installation.
 The derrick ladder shall have a safety cage or other industry approved "anti-fall" device.
 A racking board pull back winch.
 Equipped with camera to monitor mud pits, flow line and make up and break out of the top drive
at monkey board elevation.
 The mast shall be dressed with counterbalances and wire rope, to accommodate two (2) manual
tongs and one (1) drill pipe spinner.
 The counterbalances shall be designed so total weight is adjustable to accommodate the different
size/weights of manual tongs.
 Any enclosed areas within the mast shall be properly ventilated.
 A safety escape line (Geronimo line), complete with all accessories, for the derrickman:
 The anchor shall be properly designed to prevent being pulled with 5000 lbs of tension at a
45 degree angle from horizontal.
 Minimum breaking strength of the wire line shall be 20,000 lbs.
 All accessories required to rig up the system from the derrick shall have a minimum safe
working load of 15,000 lbs
 The safety line shall be rigged up to ensure an unobstructed path at all times.
 Lighting Requirements:
 Minimum lighting intensity is ten (10) foot-candles at approximately three (3) feet above the
working plane.
 Light fixtures, plugs, receptacles and related equipment shall meet Class I Division I
requirements.
 Safety cables shall secure all light fixtures to the derrick.
 Each light fixture shall be the minimum 4 foot 60 watt High Output florescent type.
Note: Substitution for the florescent type lighting is not acceptable.
 As a minimum the following lights fixtures shall be installed:
 One (1) below the crown on the back of the mast.
 One (1) installed on every other girder to the monkey board.
 Two (2) at the monkey board
 Two (2) installed on every other girder to the A-frame/lowest girder.
Four (4) at the lowest girder for lighting the rig floor.

Note: A minimum of sixteen (16) light fixtures will be installed initially to provide adequate lighting.
 Three (3) additional lights shall be available, including plugs, receptacles and clamps for
installation in the derrick, if required to provide additional lighting.

 Space shall be designated in the vicinity of the rotary to allow for storage of crossover subs, drill
pipe safety valves; BOP's and associated well control equipment.
 The setback area for the drill string shall be wood covered using oak or other equivalent
hardwood, and preferably set flush with the rig floor. This wood covering shall be adequately
secured and drained.
 The working area around the rotary table shall have non-skid mats installed.
 Provided with Hydraulic Cathead for Make Up and Break Out up to 100,000 ft-lbs each.
 Provided with Tong Line, Tong Line Sheave and Tong Torque Gauge.
 Shall have a minimum of three (3) independent escape routes.

 Drill floor height from the ground shall be +/-30' (9 m) with a minimum height from the ground to the bottom of the rotary
beams being 27' (8 m).
There shall be a means of lifting the BOP stack system, without using the traveling block. The minimum capacity for the
system shall be twice (2 times) the total weight of:
 Two (2) single BOP, 13 5/8" 10,000 psi
 One (1) double BOP, 13 5/8" 10,000 psi
 One (1) annular preventer, 13 5/8" 10,000 psi
 Mud cross, 13-5/8" X 10,000 psi working pressure
 The choke line and kill line valves.

Estimated total weight is 100,000 lbs, with a 13-5/8" 10k 4 Ram BOP stack system.
The lifting system shall:
 Attach to the BOP's in at least two (2) places.
 Shall be fail safe in the locked position (requires power to operate).
 Capable of raising and lowering the BOP a minimum of six (6) feet (1.8m).
 Each line connected on the BOP shall be capable of raising or lowering independent of the other.
Lighting Requirements:
 Minimum lighting intensity is ten (10) foot-candles at approximately three (3) feet above the working plane.
 Light fixtures, plugs, receptacles and related equipment shall meet Class I Division I requirements.
 Safety cables shall secure all light fixtures to the substructure.
 Each light fixture shall be the 4 foot 60 watt High Output florescent type. Substitution for the florescent type lighting will
not be acceptable. As a minimum the following light fixtures shall be installed:
 Four (4) on each side of the substructure below the floor. A total of eight (8) is required.
 Two (2) additional lights shall be available, to include plugs, receptacles and clamps as required for installation below the
floor as required for additional lighting.

ENGINE SAFETY ALARM AND SAFETY SHUT SOWN, Low oil pressure, high water temperature,
Engine overspeed.
Safety Shut Downs: Hydro Hydro-mechanical shutoff group (HMSO)-low oil pressure, high water temp
and engine overspeed.
ENGINE KILL SWITCHES, Located at driller console for prompt killing of each engines.

panels with plate peak roof. Top of skid decked with 1/4" checkered floor plate. House includes:

WIREWAYS
Two (2) sets heavy gauge metal covered along mud tanks to support and protect electrical cables.
Bottom hinges allow wireless to drop open when captive pins at top are released. Non-restraining
brackets allow cables to be added or removed quickly & without tools.
DISCONNECTS
One metal disconnect panel complete with weather proof plugs and receptacles to allow quick and
convenient disconnection of electrical cables between mud tanks during rig moves. Receptacles to
have protective vapor proof caps. Plugs and receptacles to be permanently identified. Heavy gauge
metal box type construction with drip shield overhang to keep water and mud off the receptacles.
Hinged front door provides protection and access to receptacle wiring. One weather proof receptacle
with plug at shale to allow its removal during rig movements.
CABLE TRAYS
Two sets of heavy duty metal cable trays inside utility house to support and protect electrical cables
between generators and control panel. Designed to prevent stress or cutting damaged to cables.
FUELS
Two (2) diesel fuel tanks, skid mounted, with a minimum capacity of 480 barrels each tank c/w two (2)
each Diesel Transfer Pumps driven by an Explosion Proof Electric Motor, complete with Racor, or
equivalent, filter system.

 All steel lines shall be adequately secured utilizing properly sized steel pipe clamps
 Pump manifold and standpipe manifold must be designed to separate mud pumps to allow
pumping down kill line with one pump and pumping down drill string with one pump
simultaneously.

 Outlets for pressure sensors to the pressure gauge at the driller's console, at the hydraulic choke

 The standpipe manifold shall have a minimum of two (2) 2" (50 mm) nominal diameter lines for:
 Utilization as a kill line to the BOP's as required
 Bleeding pressure off the drill string back to the active pit system or trip tank as required. This
line can discharge into the flow line downstream of any flow indicators installed in the flow
line.
 All isolation valves shall be 5,000 psi working pressure and be located next to the standpipe
manifold.
 These lines shall be connected to manifold such that settlement of solids onto the closed
(isolation) valves are minimized.

NOTE: Provisions shall be made on the floor to facilitate double lining the make-up tong line. This will

the tong when latched to the drill collar/drill pipe. Minimum design of the post shall be 30,000 pounds
of pull at the height where the line is attached.

8. DRILL FLUID CIRCULATING & PROCESSING EQUIPMENT, AND STORAGE

General
All equipment and accessories to rig up the circulating system from bell nipple discharge to the drill
string and the specifications listed.
The fluid process system shall consist of three (3) sections; the Removal Section, Addition Section
and Suction System. Total capacity of the active system mud tanks shall be a minimum of 1200
barrels (excluding the pre-hydration tank).
All mud tanks in the active system, except the sand trap, shall have motorized agitators per
compartment.
All mud tanks shall be designed to hold a minimum of 17.0 lb./gal mud when full.
The maximum flow rate for the drilling fluid processing system shall be 1200 GPM for the surface
hole and 960 GPM for hole sections below the surface casing.
All valves, piping, hoses, unions, clamps, etc. shall be a minimum of 125 psi working pressure.
Minimum capacity from the water pits to the mud tanks shall be 500 GPM.
The drill water line(s) shall be a minimum of 4" nominal diameter.
All centrifugal pump suctions shall have an air baffle and removable junk screen installed.
Two (2) each 1-7/8" x 6" x 8" mixing pumps complete with 2 - 100 HP Electric Motors.

a). Removal Section:


Comprised of three (3) compartments with total capacity of ±400 barrels.
Note: Total capacity of compartments 2 and 3 shall be a minimum of 50 barrels greater than the capacity
of compartment 1. This will prevent sucking the pits dry when using the D-Gasser and utilizing the
overflow between pits 1 and 2.
Shall be designed for sequential processing with solids removed sequential on the basis of size and no solids control
equipment bypassed.
Agitators are preferred to evenly load the solids control equipment. Mud guns can be used, but suction and discharge
must be from the same compartment.
One (1) 2" water outlet shall be available to deliver water from the water pit to the shale shaker possum belly.
One (1) 2" water outlet shall be available to deliver water from the water pit into pit number 1.
One (1) clean out per compartment, as required, to facilitate tank cleaning. A chute or other arrangement is also
required, as necessary, to allow liquid discharge into the earthen pit.
Each tank compartment shall be able to be equalized.
A means of pumping fluid from the removal section into the addition section shall be provided.

b). Addition Section:

Mud Mixing System:
 One (1) systems capable of mixing chemicals independently to and from each compartment in the addition
and suction section and the slug pit.
 Minimum mixing and transfer rate for each system shall be 700 GPM.
 Minimum suction and discharge line size shall be 6" for the hopper lines
 Minimum size for the throat of the hopper shall be 6".
 The jet nozzles for the mud hoppers shall be 2".
 One (1) each gauge, 0 to 100 psi, with needle valve, installed on each centrifugal pump discharge.
 The height of the hoppers and dry chemical location shall be such to prevent minimum bending and
twisting during the mixing operation.
Note: Caustic, lime and similar products are not permitted to be mixed through the hoppers.
Chemical (Caustic) Barrel
 One (1) Chemical (Caustic) Barrel, with a one (1) to two (2) barrel capacity, with mechanical stirrer, a permanently
fixed, hinged top, a table for sacks, and valves and fittings necessary for piping to addition tank. The water inlet
shall be piped into the barrel.
Note: The barrel shall be located for easy access of chemical replenishment without unnecessary manual
handling on the tanks or the steps.
 As a minimum one (1) each eye wash station shall be located at the hoppers and chemical barrel. A wash down
shower will be located in close proximity and on the same level as the caustic barrel.
c). Suction Section:
Comprised of two (2) compartments with total capacity of ±400 barrels.
Two (2) clean outs shall be installed to facilitate tank cleaning, and be a minimum of 12". A chute or other arrangement
is also required, as necessary, to allow liquid discharge into the earthen pit.
The suction section shall contain hopper suctions and discharges.
Both high and low equalization between the addition tank and the suction tank. Normally set for low equalization.
One (1) 4" water line shall be installed to deliver water from the water pit.

d). Slug Pit:


One (1) compartment with total capacity of +/-100 bbls.
One (1) 4" water line shall be installed to deliver water from the water pit @ a rate of 8 Bbls/min.
One (1) clean out, minimum of 12". A chute or other arrangement is also required, as necessary, to allow liquid
discharge to the earthen pit.

e). Independent Prehydration / Shearing Tank:


Two (2) 100 barrel compartments, total of 200 barrels.
Each compartment shall have minimum 15 horse power motorized agitators.
All piping, valves, hoses and fittings etc. shall be a minimum of 125 psi working pressure.
Stairs, walkways and handrails shall be installed for safe operation of valves and observation into the each
compartment of the tank. Tank opening shall be covered with grating with a load capacity of 150 lbs per square/ft.
One (1) clean out per compartment shall be installed to facilitate tank cleaning and be a minimum of 12". A chute or
other arrangement is also required, as necessary, to allow liquid discharge to the earthen pit.
One (1) 4" water line to each compartment shall be available to deliver water from the water pit or water source at 10
bbls/min.
Minimum mixing and transfer rate shall be 800 GPM.
Minimum suction and discharge line size shall be 6" for the hopper lines and installed in each compartment and
isolated with valves to enable mixing from each compartment independently of each other.

 Light fixtures, plugs, receptacles and related equipment shall meet Class I Division I requirements.
 Safety cables shall secure all light fixtures to the derrick.
Each light fixture shall be the minimum 4 foot 60 watt High Output florescent type.

Note: Substitution for the florescent type lighting is not acceptable.
 As a minimum the following lights fixtures shall be installed:

Trip Tank:
One (1) pump filled circulating trip tank meeting the following specifications:
 Capacity of +/-50 barrels, divided into two (2) compartments.
 Each compartment shall be equipped with a mechanical float and barrel marker
accurate to 1/2 bbl. These markers shall be designed to display trip tank volumes at the rig floor
with unobstructed line of sight to the driller.
 Two (2) centrifugal pumps with mechanical seals, each capable of pumping a
