In engineering practice, the understanding of the advance calculus techniques in 2-D and 3-D
applications is based on the fundamental of the multivariable calculus. Therefore, this course is
important to enables students to develop, comprehend, and apply the knowledge of mathematics,
physics, and engineering to solve the engineering problems.
SYNOPSIS
The intent of this course is to provide an in-depth appreciation of advance differential and integral
applications involving complex algebraic and trigonometric phenomena. Application of dot and cross
products in vector value function, TNB frame, vector analysis in projectile motion and polar curves,
and multiple integral in calculating area, volume and vector fields are among topics in this course.
