Let me start my sharing a story on how i motivate myself during the review period for the bar

examination. every Thursday through Sunday review in our school, i always look up to our successful bar
passers/ attorneys that make it through the bar examination. i smiled at those faces and praying that
someday i will also make it and pass the bar. And here i am now in front of you as a successful bar
passer. This achievement cannot be made possible without the help of God the father, jesus Christ and
the holy spirit, for the guidance, blessings, and love that they shower me. I also thanked my family that
always been there, not abandoning me even if it may seemed that i may not graduate in san Sebastian
college recoletos manila college of law. I thanked our beloved dean, dean Ferdinand tan, who took the
leap of faith in giving me a chance to prove to everyone that i can pass the bar examination in my quest
to become a full pledged attorney at law. I thanked our beloved associate dean josephrally Chavez jr.
Who always there, challenging all his students to study hard in recitation and in the examination. i
thanked him personally for giving me the right set of mind to strived hard and be consistent all through
out. I thanked my advisorship professor, atty. Ernesto salao for giving the right advice on what to do in
answering the bar questions. He was a meticulous professor who does not take a “pwede nay an”
attitude. He wants perfections or close to being perfect in giving the right recipe in passing the bar. I
thanked Atty. Pastrana for the life quotes he shared during our class, like “you can’t have your cake and
eat it too” and another is “ fruit cannot rise above the tree”, it helped me to be humble and taught me
that you cannot have the best of both worlds. I thanked Atty Salinas for his advice during our practice
court 2 classes where he said that a bar reviewee should only read 1 book per subject, the book that the
bar reviewee used during his time as a law student.
