1- I will remember them about the good and bad choices by asking him\her is that a bad or
good choice?
2- I will use the teacher`s board
3- I will use the manipulatives to help him\her counting. For writing, I will hold the pensile with
him\her and use the sand box to demonstrate how to write the numbers.
4- I will ask the student who uses the IPad to go to another center.

The student teacher will remember the students about the classroom rules. It is 5 minutes
about the good and the bad choices they can do in the classroom. She will ask them
about both choices, and she will remind them about the badges they will get if they
behaved well in the class. This strategy helps the students to make their own right
decisions.
Core (introduce and practice new concepts & procedures): 35 minutes
The student teacher will introduce the lesson by telling the students what they will
learn today by saying " Today we are learning about counting the number from 1 to
10".
She will use the teacher`s board to describe a flower because the unit about plants.
She will ask the teacher will point at the top of the flower and explain that is the
petals of the flower. And the teacher will point at the body of the flower and ask the
students" what is this shape? What is called? Also, she will point in the leaves and
tell the students that's the hands of the flower, she will ask how many hands the
flower has?, she will ask them how many hands we have? And she will ask how
many roots they see?. When she will ask about the numbers, she will ask the
students to show in their hands or to find the number on the wall.
Next, she will explain about 6 centers in the class which are they activities for
counting and writing 1- 10. When she will finish explaining she will ask specific
students to go to the centers (on their places).
- Writing center: The students will draw flowers and count/write petals.

- Seeds center: They will use cups that have written number outside and they
put seeds in it and count it working on their fine motor skills.

- Building center: The students will build a tour has numbers from 1-10 and
share it with others.

- iPads center: The students will use iPads to learn how to count to 10 in apps.
(the center is in library center).

- Counting center: The students will count and sort bears.

- Make your own flower center: The students will make their flowers
depending on how many petals and leaves they choose. They will stick a cut
papers to make the flowers.
In centers, there is will be a sample to guide the students how to either write and
count to 10. The student teacher will observe the students in each center and ask
them some questions to help who struggle with counting or writing from 1-10. She
will ask the students depends on their level of thinking.

She will demonstrate in data show a matching between numbers and fruits and
vegetables and ask some students to match. She will ask them to count the fruits
and vegetables and say what are they.
