Journal of Hydrocephalus is an official publication of the World Academy of Hydrocephalus [WAH] and the Japanese
Society of Hydrocephalus and Cerebrospinal Fluid (CSF) Disorder [JSHCSF], supported by the international
Federation of Neuroendoscopy [IFNE] and African Federation of Neurosurgical Societies [AFNS] primarily covering
hydrocephalus research, but also including articles in related fields such as neuroendoscopy/ operative technique/
technology/ instrumentation, neurophysiology/ basic neuroscience, ethico-social medicine, neurology, pediatric
neurology and international regional medical activities. Original manuscripts are given priority for publication, although
individual case reports, technical notes, special events, and programs/abstracts of the related scientific meetings will be
accepted. A given issue may contain a special review article by an authority in the field, assigned and submitted critiques
of current and previously published papers.

Journal of Hydrocephalus (PRINT ISSN 1883-3640, ONLINE ISSN 1884-9555), a peer-reviewed journal, covers a

Research with “Life Time Achievement Award”). The active member [the Pantheon Members] qualification shall be limitted to either the Top 100
Researchers in [1950-2010] Hydrocephalus Research World Record Ranking or the Pudenz Award winners [1988 ∼ ].

care and research in hydrocephalus and CSF disorders, and thereby promote the best possible care for patients with hydrocephalus and CSF
