Activity Design
Introduction

The Youth Leadership and Values Formation Camp is tailored for the holistic
development of the campers. It is purposed to empower young people to make a difference and
become positive catalysts for change in their homes, schools, workplaces, and communities.

It is inspiring to note that the youths should not wait for the future to become leaders.
As young as they are, youths can be leaders of today by taking right and concrete actions in
addressing global problems that are locally rooted.

The camp provides an avenue for great exchanges of innovative ideas among the
delegates and distinguished youth champions. It will also pave the way to the realization of
their pivotal role to address global issues and other challenges.

Objectives

This activity aims to:

1. Impart knowledge, sharpen skills and orient attitudes (values formation) of
youth participants so that they are capable of performing better in their roles;
2. Empower participants to be assets and become active partners in a productive
economy by providing them with relevant inputs that will develop their skills;
3. Improve social capabilities of participants through team building and group
dynamics;
4. Inculcate the principles of servant leadership to the campers;
5. Identify key global issues or problems affecting the youth;
6. Create synergy among the youth in addressing the identified global issue or
problem;
7. Appreciate the role of the youths in building the nation; and
8. Empower the campers to continue to be the catalysts for positive change.
