Volunteer 2012-2013 Youthlinc - Cambodia SLC, UT


Work  Traveled to Cambodia on a humanitarian service trip in July 2013. Prepared for almost
a year prior to the trip raising money, volunteering in my own community, and creating
lesson plans. In Cambodia we taught English to the elementary students, built a small
library, and planted a community garden.
2012-2013 Family Support & Treatment Center Orem, UT
 Volunteered in the Children’s Center playing and caring for the kids while their parents
were in therapy sessions or in parenting classes.
 Was awarded the Volunteer Recognition Certificate from the Utah Commission on
Service and Volunteerism after being nominated by the Volunteer Coordinator at FSTC.
