Safety Considerations:
● Injury: In the case of a student hurting themselves doing one of the fitness dance moves,
the dance will be stopped so the teacher can handle the injury.

Organization of Students: 2 Lines facing the instructor


Directions: Students will be instructed to get into two even lines with enough space for
themselves to move around in. The teacher will then start with a warm-up of a few basic fitness
dance moves at a low intensity to raise the heart rate.. After the warm-up dance the teacher will
tell the students to follow their fitness dance moves. The teacher will give cues on what the next
move is. After the dance, the teacher will guide the students through a few minutes of stretching
to cool down.

Extensions/Adaptations/Modifications: The routine will be repeated to a second song.
