COMPROMISE AGREEMENT

This Agreement of compromise made at Dehradun on this 22nd day of April, 2000 between A
(landlord) son of P, resident of 2/3 Dobalwala, Dehradun (hereinafter called Party No. 1) of
the One Part and B (tenant) son of Z, resident of 2/3 Dobalwala, Dehradun (hereinafter called
Party No. 2) of the Other Part.

Whereas disputes and differences have arisen between the parties aforementioned regarding
the recovery of rent pending for one and half years and for the ejectment of the tenant.

Whereas during the pendency of the suit in the Court, the parties mutually decided to
withdraw the suit and come to the mutual consent that the tenant (B) will pay half of the
pending amount to the landlord (A).

And whereas the parties have agreed to settle their disputes and differences amicably between
themselves without recourse to litigation and for that purpose are willing to abandon their
claims in the manner hereinafter appearing.

Now This Deed Witnessed That It Is Hereby Agreed As Follows:

 That the tenant (B) will pay half of the pending amount to the landlord (A).
 That the landlord (A) will remit the court fees, lawyer’s fees and sue probable
amount.
 That the tenant (B) will hand over the possession of the house to the landlord (A).

In Witness Whereof, the parties have hereunto set and subscribed their respective hands, the
day, month and year first above written.
