1. IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS
! You must come to the Awards Office (202 Robertson Hall) and pick up your loan/grant
certificate to receive OSAP funding.
! You must present your Social Insurance Number card, as well as valid Provincial or
Federal Government-issued photo-ID to receive your loan/grant certificate.
! You must register for both fall and winter terms before we can release your loan/grant
certificate. Your registered course-load must be equal to what you indicated on your OSAP
application. (e.g. 100% course-load on OSAP application = 2.0 or more credits each term).
! You must verify or update the income information you provided on your OSAP
application before we can release your loan/grant certificate. Please be ready to provide:
1. The total gross (before-tax) income you expect to receive from all sources (e.g.
employment, government benefits, scholarships, bursaries) during the 2010 calendar
year (January–December);
2. The total gross income from all sources you receive over the Summer;
3. The total gross income from all sources you expect to receive between September
2010 and April 2011.
4. FINAL STEP
! After picking up your loan/grant certificate you must submit it to the National Student Loans
Service Centre (NSLSC) for final processing. NSLSC representatives will be on campus
between September 1 & September 24 to make this easier for you. They will require your
banking information. Please bring a void cheque to attach to your certificate.
