How do we create a character?

Understanding and identifying with characters-- Allowing actors to better portray their roles by not creating a bias against them.
Unit Summary:
In theatre, actors have to create an image of who their character is and try to emulate that image to the best of their ability. In this Unit,
students will be working on the play, Almost, Maine. The students will learn how to explore, develop, and make their character come to
life. Students will become able to read between the lines and visualize who their character is. They will be able to create a better mental
image, put more thought towards their actions and move with purpose once they are able to understand the thought process of their
characters. By the end of this unit, students will be able to analyze their assigned characters, determine their motives and perform their
scene in front of their peers. Lastly, students will be able to provide a well thought out character analysis regardless of the context given.
