1Gameking Internet Gaming Project (GIGP):

Client: Gameking India Pvt. Ltd.
Technology: Windows 2003, Oracle 10g, VC++,ASP
Detail: GIGP is an online Gaming system with its Connectivity all around the Globe. A user can
install an application and can login on Application server after authentication with the
Database to play online games. All details are online and recorded in a Production
Database running 24/7.
Role: My Responsibility towards GIGP was Configuring, Designing and maintenance of Database.
Optimizing and maximizing performance by Tuning SQL and memory. I was also involved in
Optimizing performance, Installation and Upgrades of oracle Server and Application Tool. Planning
backup strategy and monitoring for the production database. Database is running on Oracle 10g
R2 under Windows 2003 Server. The application designing was done using Advanced Queuing
Feature with “DBMS_obfuscation” for Security Implementation.

2Oracle Data Warehouse and ETL Operations:

Client: Gameking India Pvt. Ltd.
Technology: Red hat Linux 5, Oracle 10g
Detail: Data Warehouse to keep historical data of production database for reporting purpose and
to reduce load from production database.
Role: Designed Oracle Data Warehouse for Historical analysis and reporting purpose. Created ETL
Process through PLSQL Procedures which runs as a Scheduled Job and moves the data from
Production database to Data Warehouse on nightly Scheduled basis. Tables in Data Warehouse are
designed with Partitioning on data column to facilitate feature of partition pruning and large block
size is used with bitmap indexes. Optimizing performance and maintenance for this Database is
regular task to improve the response time. Database is designed on Oracle 10g running on Red
Hat Enterprise Linux 5.

This Website is Designed with Microsoft .NET technologies running and communicated with our
Oracle 10g production Database. Website involves financial transactions and online Games running
24/7. My Tasks includes Database Designing and application Development for this Project. I am
also involved in Optimizing performance, Installation and Upgrades of oracle Server and
Application Tool.

4Gameking Internal Management System:

This Software is designed in Visual Basic 6.0 and Database residing in Oracle 9i. This project is for
the internal Employee Management of the company including salary, employee’s tasks and
attendance details. My responsibility is backup and maintenance of Database.

5High Availability Solutions with Data Guard and Materialized View Replication:
Created one Physical Standby and one Logical Standby for failover and Reporting purpose. Logical
Standby is created for moving data of Production Database to Data Warehouse through ETL
Operations. Database is running Oracle 10g R2, Materialized View Replication is created for zero
data loss of Production Database.
