KET OVERVIEW
The Key English Test (KET) for Schools is a Cambridge ESOL exam. It is at level A2 Waystage of
the Common European Framework of Reference. The exam is divided into three papers as follows:
Paper 1: Reading and Writing – 1 hour 10 minutes
Paper 2: Listening – 30 minutes
Paper 3: Speaking – 8-10 minutes
