Floor Standing Enclosures
Eldon’s new locking system is equipped on all
floor standing enclosure ranges made of mild
or stainless steel.
The system comes with a new sleek lock cover, that can be
customized with your company name or logo, improving the
overall aesthetics of Eldon’s floor standing enclosures. Fully
compatible with the redesigned Eldon’s locking inserts, the
system is equipped with an enhanced security ‘click’ indicator
which makes users aware that the locking system is either fully
opened or closed.
The locking system’s rods are positioned parallel to the
enclosure’s door, offering an improved flush design. The
locking rods, combined with the new locking catchers, create a
self-positioning system which ensures that the enclosure’s door
can be opened or closed smoothly.
Double door enclosures are delivered with a locking system
fitted to the slave door, as standard. This allows users to gain
access to the enclosure, while keeping the slave door locked for
security and protection reasons. The slave door locking system
ensures a smooth overall locking process, by eliminating any
resistance caused by the master door.
The metallic lift handle is made of zamak and is finished in either
RAL 5013, for mild steel enclosures, or a matte chrome paint,
for stainless steel enclosures. Offering a robust solution,
the lift handles can be used with Eldon’s range of locking inserts
or half cylinders.

Floor Standing Enclosures
Eldon’s latest range of mild steel and stainless steel
side panels has been designed from the drawing board
to deliver users increased rigidity for extra strength as
well as to reduce customer assembly time and permit
one-man installation.
Reflecting Eldon’s near 95-years of expertise in making state-
of-the-art enclosures, the redesigned panels are geared to be
utilized with combinable enclosures for creating bayed or individual
configurations. Typical applications encompass automation &
control and power distribution systems, where it is necessary to
install multiple enclosures in-line.
The increased strength of the latest side panels stem from an
innovative ‘S’ bend as well as an increase in material thickness.
In addition, Eldon’s customers also benefit from a smart hanging
design feature, that allows the side panels to be hung from the
enclosure using a unique bend across the top edge of the side
panel, which makes the installation fast and easy.

Floor Standing Enclosures
The section profile with pre-fitted foam can be mounted
easily onto the bottom plates of Eldon’s mild steel floor
standing enclosures thanks to a time-saving, click-in
fixing solution.
The new profile is designed to seal the cable entry between floor standing
enclosure bottom plates. The foam fills the gaps formed around the cables
and ensures a seal which effectively prevents dust from entering.

Eldon’s upgraded range of floor standing mild steel compact
enclosures is designed to help users further speed-up
assembly, reduce their stock keeping needs, improve
flexibility and deliver on their bottom line, by cutting assembly
and labour costs.
Eldon prides itself on going the extra mile to make business easier for its
customers and the company’s upgraded mild steel compact enclosures
reflect that commitment. Designed to speed-up assembly time, deliver
increased flexibility and improve customer’s bottom line, Eldon’s latest mild
steel compact enclosures are designed for use in indoor environments
where removable panels are not required.
Eldon’s compact enclosures are the perfect choice when it comes to
residential automation and control solutions or for being integrated into larger
processing systems or machines.
Closing the gap between Eldon’s compact and combinable enclosures, the
EK range of enclosures are fully compatible with most of the floor standing
enclosure accessories, thanks to the improved CLPFK vertical profiles,
which mirror the combinable enclosure hole pattern in the rear of compact
enclosures. This smart solution increases the compact floor standing
enclosures flexibility and usability.
There are more benefits: Eldon includes rivet nuts for the fixation holes
in the top of the enclosure and welded nuts for the fixation holes in the
bottom. This means that lifting bolts, plinths and wooden pallets can be
conveniently installed and/or removed from the exterior of the enclosure.
In order to ensure compatibility with Eldon’s floor standing enclosure
plinths (PF), the corners of the plinths have been modified to include an
extra hole.
Eldon’s compact enclosures are compatible with LE9304, MPA06
and CCB02. Additionally, Eldon is delivering compact enclosures on
higher quality wooden pallets used for combinable and semi-compact
enclosures.
The CLPFK vertical profiles are delivered with a pack quantity of 2, which
means 1 pack per compact enclosure. The item numbers for these rear

Eldon continuously improves its products to provide
the best possible functionality. For this reason, all Eldon
console desk units come equipped with an upgraded
panel stay offering three open positions.
Eldon consoles are typically used whenever a complex process
needs to be controlled or specific parameters need to be entered by
an operator. For processes where a number of information sources
need to be monitored in real time, Eldon’s modular console system
is recommended for its characteristics and will be normally used.
The panel stay comes with a three-position bracket that allows the
user to select the opening angle of the desk section. The panel can
be opened 90º, 77º or 58º.
The panel stay is available in the compact console range, both in
mild steel consoles, MPG, and stainless steel consoles, MPGS.
Furthermore, desk section units of the MPC modular console range
also include the panel stay, in both mild steel consoles, MPCxx2,
and stainless steel ones, MPCSxx2.

Eldon is committed to continuously improving its

products, focusing on both design and functionality.
A typical example is the latest LTLN range of enclosure
lights which offers features strongly focused on meeting
the needs of the user.
The LTL enclosure light range has been phased out and replaced by
the LTLN range. Lights in the new range have a rugged industrial yet
modern design. They are manufactured in powder painted mild steel
in RAL 7035, giving a professional overall look and feeling to match
the enclosure.

Two dedicated accessories are available: a light cover for users who
want extra protection, and a door switch designed specifically for the
new LTLN range. All material necessary to connect the LTLN to the
door switch is included.

Eldon has significantly improved its Polyurethane gasket,

guaranteeing 50% lower water absorption, a feature
unique in the market.
The immediate benefit arising from the polyurethane gasket
improvement is the reduced risk of having water inside the gasket that,
due to the compression of the gasket when closing the door, pushes
this water inside the enclosure.

With the new gasket, the performance of the stainless steel enclosures
is much better than before, improving the performance for outdoor
applications. Recommended for all types of environments, the
polyurethane gasket is equipped on all mild steel enclosures and
stainless steel AISI 304L.
