The paragraph should be one paragraph, single spaced and fully justified using the size 10 Arial
font. It should be composed of not more than 250 words. The abstract should be followed by five
keywords for indexing purposes. Your abstracts must not have been published or presented in a
conference and must fall within any of the following sub-themes: Impact of Social Science Studies;
Women and Gender Studies; Communication and Language Studies; Local History, Tourism, and
Festivals; Local Politics, Governance and Collaboration; Local Heroes of Southern Luzon; Trends
and Challenges in Southern Luzon Social Studies; Urbanization Issues in the Era of Globalization;
Impact of Population Transitions on Environment; Resources and Health; Technology and
Sustainable Development; Representation and Identities in Literature and the Arts; Climate
changes, Disaster and Disaster Management; Education-related Studies; Indigenous Peoples
Studies; Heritage Studies; and Other Social Science related studies. This form should be submitted
in Microsoft Office Word format (compatibility mode) as an attachment by e-mail to
sluzonstudies@gmail.com with a subject: Surname_type of presentation (e.g. Dela Cruz_oral
presentation)
