To Whom It May Concern,
| am writing this letter to give Molly Hughes the highest recommendation for a nursing position
‘at your institution, As Nursing Specialist Manager atthe Medication Management Center at the
University of Arizona's College of Pharmacy, I have worked as Molly’s manager for 3 months.
However, Molly has worked atthe Medication Management Center since October 2016. In the
short time I have known her, Molly has exceeded my expectations.
Molly has proven herself be Teale, wot only by taining new employees at the Medication
Management Center, but alo by making herself accessible to questions from her coworkers. She
is also inquisitive and willing to go above and beyond to understand the workflow.
Molly has exemplary communication abilities. When communicating with patients over the
phone, Molly is professional while also being compassionate to the individual's needs. She is
efficient, but takes the timeto understand the patient's concerns. In communicating with her
coworkers and the management staff, Molly is timely and effective in getting her message
‘Due to her work atthe Medication Management Center, Molly has an extensive knowledge of
medications, while also understanding medication recommendations based on the patient's
chronic conditions. She is slso well versed in motivational interviewing to educate and empower
patients.
Prior to working in my eunent position, I worked for two and a half years as a nurse on the
‘Trauma Step Down unit at Banner University Medical Center ~ Tueson. In that position I was
frequently in the charge nuse role and I was also involved in the Shared Leadership Commitee
Given my previous experience and my current knowledge of Molly's abilities, 1 have no doubt
that Molly would flourish cn any nursing unit she was hired on.
Please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions or concems.
