It is my pleasure to write this letter of recommendation for Molly Hughes. Molly was a student in my
second semester course Nursing Care of the Childbearing Family, and my first semester course Scholarly
Inquiry in Evidence Based Practice, at The University of Arizona College of Nursing. Molly was an
excellent student in both courses. She has a strong work ethic and is very self-directed. She has
excellent communication and interpersonal skills. She has a very professional demeanor, and a positive
attitude. She is an engaged and highly motivated learner. Molly has been named to the Dean’s List with
distinction for her outstanding academic performance. This semester she completed a preceptorship on
the neurological unit at Northwest Medical Center in Tucson, Arizona. As part of the fourth semester
course work she has taken the Institute for Healthcare Improvement modules. Since 2016 Molly has
worked as a Nursing Intern at Sinfonia RX Medication Management Center. She holds a pharmacy tech
trainee license. Molly has been an active member of the pre-nursing, and the student nurse’s
organization at The University of Arizona College of Nursing. Molly has maintained excellent academic
achievement while working and maintaining membership in the Student Nurse’s Association. I believe
