To
whom
it
may
concern,
I
had
the
privilege
of
working
with
Ms.
Johnston
this
June
as
a
volunteer
in
my
classroom
with
the
E.A.S.T.
(Elementary
Academy
of
Science
and
Technology)
program.
E.A.S.T.is
a
part
of
the
After
School
Program
within
our
district.
The
camp
was
for
the
month
of
June.
The
children
at
the
E.A.S.
T.
program
come
from
various
backgrounds
and
many
of
them
don’t
have
the
learning
experiences
that
E.A.S.T.
provides.
Ms.
Johnston
volunteered
to
help
with
our
field
of
study
which
was
the
Science
of
Sewing
and
in
the
afternoons
she
helped
with
the
science
classes.
She
was
a
tremendous
help
from
the
very
beginning.
She
had
a
great
rapport
with
the
students
as
well
as
the
staff.
She
was
patient,
kind,
helpful
and
enjoyed
being
with
the
students.
She
was
on
time
every
morning
and
worked
until
she
had
to
leave
to
work
at
her
job
later
in
the
day.
Her
knowledge
of
sewing
helped
quite
a
bit
and
passing
on
that
knowledge
was
a
great
asset.
She
asked
great
questions
and
wanted
to
learn
as
much
as
she
could.
She
exhibited
many
excellent
qualities
that
I
feel
are
needed
in
a
teacher.
She
didn’t
hesitate
in
helping
out
where
ever
she
was
needed.
She
also
took
time
to
be
a
part
in
the
debriefing
of
our
month
as
well
as
helped
pack
up
classrooms
at
the
end
of
camp.
I
really
enjoyed
getting
to
know
her
and
wish
her
well
in
her
academic
career.
I
would
not
hesitate
to
recommend
her
for
positions
she
applies
for.
