BRIEF OVERVIEW AND PROBLEM STATEMENT

Liberia Coca-Cola Bottling Company is into the business of bottling and distributing Coca-
Cola products to Micro Distribution Centres who subsequently distributes them to the
consumers.

To ensure the proper flow of this chain of activities, LCCBC assign a staff (Area Accounts
Developer) to each MDC to help in the distribution process. These AADs are being paid like
every other staff of LCCBC despite the remote nature of their jobs.

At the end of every business day, the AADs are required to submit reports to their respective
supervisors for onward submission to management. Currently the reports are being
submitted either via telephone or by hand delivery.

These AADs are sent to trade everyday with little or no means of being directly monitored;
they might choose to go out and leave whenever they like or might choose to skip certain
outlets or even ply a different route rather than the day’s route which can result into the
following:
 LCCBC may lose opportunities in the market
 AADs may be pay for days not worked for
 AAD may lure management into making the wrong decisions since the decisions are
being made based on information from the market.
 And many more.

SYSTEM DESCRIPTION
Zion Technology Incorporated hereby propose to the management of LCCBC the
development of a customize Software Suite to provide a lasting solution to these
outstanding problems.

INDEX Software Suit

The Index Software Suite will comprise of three custom-made software packages

1. User App (Android Mobile App)

2. Admin App (Android Mobile App)
3. Super Admin Portal (Web base back-office platform)

And they will perform the following functions:

 Tracking AAD’s in trade.

 Enable AAD’s submit reports in real time
 Allow supervisors to set target for AAD’s
 Stock Taking
 Sales

i. User App
The User App will be used on an Android Platform by AAD’s in trade with the following
core functions.

 Viewing daily routes, outlets and targets

 Clocking in and out to record attendance and activities.
 Stock taking
 Sales
 Reports submission
 Instant messages
 Ability to be tracked using the GPS Satellite

ii. Admin App

The Admin App will also be used on an Android platform by supervisors and
managers with the following functions:
 Preview reports and analysis
 View AADs location
 View MDCs
 Set daily sales target for AADs
 Exchange instant messages with AADs and other Supervisors

iii. Super Admin Portal

The Super Admin Portal will be a web based application for the back-office
functionalities as listed below
 Create/Edit Supervisors
 Create/Edit AADs
 Create/Edit Territories
 Create/Edit Routes
 Track AADs, Supervisors and Managers movement
 Assign AADs to Supervisors
 Assign Routes to Call Days
 View and Download detail reports
