GRAMMAR TOPIC: Commands and there is-there are
VOCABULARY: numbers (from 1 to 10) and sit down, stand up, silence please, etc.
CONTEXTUALIZE TOPIC: Doing movements according to the commands To count things that there are around the classroom.

AIMS
MAIN AIMS:
 At the end of this class the student will be able to respond to commands studied inside the classroom. Besides, he or she will be
competent to count things that there are in the environment using the expressions “there is” and “there are”
PERSONAL AIMS:
 To be attentive to the questions asked by the students in order to clarify and solve the questions.
 To promote a good environment inside the classroom. In this way, the class will be developed in a good way.
 To be clear in spoken language related to the topics.
 To encourage students to participate in the English class.

ANTICIPATED PROBLEMS
 Students do not pay attention or do not want to participate in the class. For that reason it is too important to develop fun and interested
activities.
 The environment can become hot. I will be able to carry out the class outside the classroom.
 Students’ behavior could not be very good. Therefore, the place of the chairs are going to be changed.

Introduce First, I will greet the students saying good afternoon

During the First activity: I am going to give and write the new
class vocabulary on the board. After that, I will study that To develop the workshops

explain to the students the activity that they will
develop. I will be about numbers.

Second activity: I will pronounce the words of the

topic and students will repeat after me. Therefore,
they will practice the pronunciation and they will
learn new vocabulary.
 Third activity: I will encourage to the students to
develop a game called “Bingo” with numbers from
1 to 10. In this way they are going to enjoy the class.

Fourth activity: students will develop an exercise in

terms of numbers. They will complete the missing
words of the numbers.

Finally, I will develop an activity with the students.

It could be: match the numbers with the words
written on the board.
Post At the end of the class, I hope the students have
activity developed the following products:
Speaking skills: I will ask a question to the students;
how many teachers are there in the Scholl? By oral
way, students will answer the question in this way:
there are…. Writing skills: I will revise the 15 minutes
notebooks of each student about the writing of the
topic. Reading skills: students will read the new

PLAN B
I will put in practice another strategy if some students do not understand the difference between there is and there are. I will explain the
difference using some markers or other things in order to be clear about that topic.
If the students do not know how to write the numbers in English very well, I will develop a game called “el ahorcado”
If the students do not identify the numbers in English, I will show some flashcards with numbers.
