1. Encouraging Women to Lead

2. Producing Geothermal Energy

Chevron is one of the world’s leading producers of geothermal energy, a renewable
resource that captures the natural power of stream from the earth to generate electricity
while producing almost no greenhouse emissions. Chevron’s geothermal plants in
Indonesia and the Philippines produce energy to power millions of homes.
Chevron’s subsidiary “Chevron Geothermal” manages two geothermal projects in
Indonesia – Darajat and Salak – both on the island of Java. The Darajat supplies geothermal
steam, which generates 259 MW of electricity. Chevron holds a 95% operating interest in
Darajat. Beside that, Chevron owns and operates the Salak project. It is one of the largest
geothermal operations in the world with a total operating capacity of 377 MW. The output
from Chevron’s Darajat and Salak geothermal operations now produces sufficient
renewable energy to supply approximately 4 million homes in Indonesia.
Chevron also operates and has a 95% interest in the North Duri Cogeneration Plant in
Sumatra which supplies ip to 300 MW of electrical power to Chevron Pacific Indonesia as
well as steam in support of CPI’s Duri steamflood project.
Chevron has a 95% owned and operated interest in Suoh-Sekincau prospect in southern
Sumatra. The Indonesian government issued Chevron a license to explore the area, and
have taken the first steps toward geological and geophysical assessment. If successful,
 additional development could potentially add about 200 MW to Chevron’s geothermal
portfolio.

3. Building the Giant Agbami Vessel

The giant Agbami field is one of the largest deepwater oil offshore discoveries in
Nigeria. The cornerstone of the development is one of world’s largest floating production,
storage and offloading (FPSO) vessels, shown here as it was towed to the site. Agbami
represents not only a new source of energy supply, but also provides employment and
economic opportunities for Nigeria.

4. Deepwater Drilling
Chevron is leading the development of new technologies to tap the oil lies deep beneath
the ocean floor. Navigating uncertain weather conditions, freezing water and crushing
pressure, deepwater drilling is one of the most technologically challenging ways of finding
and etracting oil.

5. Green Building
Chevron’s Northpark building in Luosiana is part of a growing “green” movement in
construction. The 300,000 ft2 office complex is Chevron’s first LEED-certified building in
Luosiana. LEED is acronym for Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design, a
certification program of the U.S. Green Building Council.

6. Supporting Energy Innovation

Chevron is a Global Partner Partner of Cleantech Open, which encourages clean
technology innovation and small-business development. Chevron’s collaborative
partnership helps bring emerging technologies together with companies that deliver the
world’s energy today and in the future.
