English Learning Services (ELS)
We will give you a free reference membership from the English Learning
Services (ELS) section of our library.
This has:
• a wide range of self-study English learning resources
• self-study paths for each level to guide you to the resources you need
to support your course work
• practice materials for English language exams
• regular extra-curricular language development opportunities.
The ELS is open in Colombo from 0900 to 1800 from Tuesday to Saturday
and from 0900 to 1630 on Sunday, so you can study when it suits you.

Our Essential Business English courses aim to improve
your business English communication skills for daily use
across the four skills of speaking, listening, reading and
writing. We also focus on the basic grammar and
vocabulary skills you need to communicate effectively
in a professional environment.
Our Business Communication Skills course provides you
with the job-specific language and business skills you
will need to work and communicate more effectively in
English. Course participants will meet, work and develop
with other professionals from different fields in
Sri Lanka and possibly beyond.
