JACKSON, Tenn., July XX, 2019 - LOCAL RESIDENT PLACES FIRST IN AGE
DIVISION IN JACOA’S PREMIER GLOW RUN - First Name Last Name, of
Hometown, placed first in the X age division of the Jackson Area Council on
Alcoholism and Drug Dependency premier 5K Glow Run “Light The Way” on July
XX. The event was held to raise awareness of JACOA and the need to treat and
prevent diseases of addiction and drug abuse. JACOA, located at 900 East Chester
Street in Jackson, is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing care for people
suffering from substance use disorders or co-occurring mental health disorders. For

Cutline Checklist
➢ During the event have the intern take pictures of the runners that place in
their age divisions.
➢ Gather and record the runners’ names, placement in race and hometown.
➢ Within the week following the race create the cutlines by filling in the sample
cutline with the corresponding information and send to the local newspaper
of the participant.
➢ Local newspapers can be identified using the runner’s hometown and
determining the county in which they reside and sending the picture and
cutline to the appropriate newspaper from those listed above.
➢ The distribution list provided in the packet includes the Madison County
newspapers and those in the surrounding area.
