Domestic abuse
In the past of couple years, domestic abuse seems like it has become a popular thing in
the country and mostly in the NFL. In these years the NFL has run into a lot of conflicts with
women abuses and how the abuser are getting punished for their actions. Are they getting off
easy or is it just enough to teach them a lesson or enough to put them in the same predicament
again or later in life? Violence against women" is understood as a violation of human rights and
a form of discrimination against women and shall mean all acts of gender-based violence that
result in, or are likely to result in, physical, sexual, psychological or economic harm or suffering
to women, including threats of such acts, coercion . Domestic abuse is all over and it was a big
The NFL has sought to demonstrate that it takes domestic violence allegations against its
players seriously. It was so serious that they started to launch their own little investigation and
reports of abuse to the committed by the NFL players. The NFL has many domestic cases that
happen back to back that makes them look like they don’t care about women. It was at least a
half-dozen players who have been accused of physical or sexual assaults were welcomed to the
NFL with little more than a shrug by their new teams. They made it seem as if the the NFL
didn’t care about women and just made it worst on them in the medias and etc.
Smith 2
There were a few people in the NFL that caught a lot of cases. As was the case with Greg
Hardy, Ray McDonald ,and Josh Brown, some owners and executives continue to thumb their
noses at the league's efforts to address violence against women, deciding they can live with a
history of abuse as long as a player will help them win games. There were some cases about their
NFL player abusing their mother’s kids but it seems like they have been accused. It has been so
many cases.
Owners and executives continue to thumb their noses at the league's efforts to address
violence against women, deciding they can live with a history of abuse as long as a player will
help them win games. They were saying that the abuser gets off really easy and deserved to be
punished more. In a commentary, the author claims that the NFL draft shows some teams don't
take the issue of domestic violence seriously. They also said the reason that they let the player is
because we wouldn't know about the player pass an what happens behind closed doors. It could
have been that the women provoked him or he just has an anger problem. They think if they
punish them to hard the same problem will happens again.they try to give them counseling to
find out what the problem really was and why it really happen. Giving them hard time in jail or a
really big punishment wouldn't do anything but make the problem worse than what it is.
seconds. This is a cultural problem in the United States, and it can be found everywhere, from
suburban homes to athletes' mansions. That mean women are beating every day for no reason
that’s what social media makes it seem like. There were just some recent cases with some

domestic violence situations. Domestic cases in sports should carry out similar punishments.
them feel powerless. Domestic Abuse against women happens in families cultural backgrounds
and is found in both rural and urban settings. Domestic abuse can also happen in lesbian
relationships. Domestic abuse comes from a pattern assaultive and controlling behavior. Abusers
use physical violence, they are mostly going to continue their assaults and increase the woman’s
risk of harm and serious life-threatening injury. There is not just physical abuse there is also
verbal and emotional, all these abuses work together to either keep a women scared or to keep a
women there because of love that she misses or the love she doesn't want to lose. They might not
want to lose that person or mess up the family they have or are about to start.
The NFL has shown that it couldn't care less about women, really doesn't want to call out
its players for doing bad things to them. For example, Josh Brown was arrested in 2015 and was
charged with assaulting his wife at the time, Molly Brown. Police and court records documented
that Brown had assaulted her almost two dozen times, Molly Brown said, she was even pregnant
one time when he actually assaulted her. They worked on that case for at least 10 months, the
only punishment he got was that they made him miss one game. They don’t really give
punishment to men for abuse because what if it might happen again if they get punished really
bad it wouldn't do anything but make it worst. They make it seem like NFL doesn’t even care
Smith 4
about women or how they are being treated. It makes it seem as they are taking women for
granted.
NFL has tried to show that it takes abusive behavior at home affirmations against its
players genuinely. The association supported its security staff, that said it would dispatch its own
examinations of reports of manhandle conferred by NFL players, and convey punishments. That
hold abusers accountable regardless of how the criminal justice system handles a case. This
article analyzes how the NFL handles affirmations of man handle and explores abusive behavior
at home cases. There are plenty of domestic crimes that happen everyday we are trying to figure
out why & what we can do to stop it from happening again? Domestic abuse is starting to look
Domestic abuse is very serious, it's dangerous to play with after the first time it becomes
a bad habit that seems uncontrollable. They will lie to you to make you stay. Your
charm beloved by all, is the exploding monster who just hit you. And then, after a cycle that
goes from calm to threats to explosions to sincere-sounding apologies, it's getting everyone else
to believe the domestic violence is real. The stress that people go through when being abused is
very dramatic. It is more than you think its an average of three killings a day and 20,000 daily
calls to domestic violence hotlines in this country, despite pictures of bruises and cuts, despite
videos of punches and visits to the hospital. No wonder so many victims don't report being
beaten or change their minds about pressing charges. They're so scared to speak up that they sit
there and get beat on for a while till someones actually see what’s going on and speak up for
them or take the matter into their own hands. They get tricked to staying in a relationship when
Smith 5
they are getting abused they get lied to and threaten to stay because if they leave it wouldn't do
anything but get worse and just make it very difficult for everybody. Its seems to be a code of
silence when abuse comes into play in a relationship. A lot of Domestic violence occurs often in
minority community, according to research. Forty-five percent of the black women have been
physically or sexually abused by intimate partners, compared to 37 percent of white women and
34 percent of Hispanic or Latina women. In the text, it states “One in eight black women get
abused in the family”. A Lot of women get abused in a lifetime it shows that they are scared or
that the man in the relationship has deep problems or has had a very bad past that they can't
explain but it just gets worse because they have nobody to talk to or express these problems too.
Domestic abuse is bad for everyone, it even has an effect on your kids he might increase the rate
of them being a victim or predator. The challenge is not abuse but trying to reduce or prevent it
from happening.
Women feel as that men get off easy for what they do to them. They feel that man really
get off scotch free. They want the man to be punished for what they put the women though. They
think men should feel the same pain they were put through such as the raping and getting beat
every day or every week. Men go to jail confess, and it's over with after they do a little time and
that's it nothing really happens to them. Women get sexually assaulted not once, but more than
that. Women don't deserve to get treated like trash because of someone else pass. Women are
human just like us would you want your family member being treated like that?
There are not typical women that just get beats on its all women all shapes forms and
sizes. It doesn't matter what type of women you are you can be big, strong, skinny fat it is a
known fact women are weaker than man.you can try to fight back but it's not gonna work
Smith 6
because men have more muscle and we were made stronger than women for a reason not saying
that's a good reason to beat on women because we know you going to lose or not fight back.
being abused in a relationship is really survival because every day you're scared for your life and
don't know where to go or what to do to stop it so your scared and end up just staying and being
beating back top back. The abuse can be terrifying, life-threatening and almost constant. Then
there is the just as serious issue of being believed and supported by those you choose to tell.
They might not believe you because you never said anything or everything looks good looking
on the outside in. there different views from every point you just have to make your side of the
story very vivid and also have proof that you being abuse.the abuse comes in many forms it
happens to a lot of women rich and poor or from the smartest to the not so smartest. soon the
abuse starts to happen it hard to get away.who'd think that you are the not so lucky one to end up
Do not think just because you're a man you don't get abuse too. We all know men are
naturally stronger and women cant beat men. There are many types of abuse not just physical
there's verbal, emotional, mental and etc. Sometimes women wouldn't even touch a man to abuse
him, there are plenty of things that they do to keep a man down. In most cases, women use
weapons to abuse a man, examples like boiling water, knives, bats and glass. It happens like this,
sometimes men just never say anything because it's a pride thing who wants people to know their
women is beating on them. They don't fight back because they want it to go back how it was they
want nothing to change. They still want to be with that person so they can work it out. While
men may be held back from defending themselves by cultural restriction against harming a
woman, abused men have faced widespread biases from police, judges and social workers, who
Smith 7
tend to assume that the man in a violent relationship is the aggressor and to trivialize assaults by
women.
Abuse is a big problem it is not cool we are trying to stop it. Abuse is very common now
and days people are getting abused and going to court every day. Seems like it’s a different
reason why they do it and a new case every time. They wrote the act against women but I seems
like they choose to break it all the time. Women abuse is serious it seems like people take it as a
joke. women abuses can go from beating to stalking or even the worst somebody dying. women
abuse is getting out of hand. I'm pretty sure many women are tired of being abused for being
themselves or just because of the problems that the abuse has been through or what he is going
through now, and I think if it doesn't stop now it wont do anything but get worse. It seems as if
it's not a big problem, but what if that was your mother or a female in your family you wouldn't
want them in that predicament. There are so many types of abuse that a women can be abused
five different ways at once. Who wants to be abused every day or every other day for nothing.
Abusers beat them and lie to them saying that it wouldn't happen Nomo.
From my research paper, I gather a lot of information and I came up with 10 good survey
question. From my question I choose my top 3 questions that I felt have the best response to me.
This is just another way of giving more examples of how people really feel about women abuse.
4 or 5 different questions about how people feel about women abuse and these answer are
coming from all genders and age groups. I'm telling you the question and the results that I get
Do women like being abused? The answer that chose the most was no women are people
and do not deserve to be hit on.71.43 percent of the people choose that answer i agree because
women are people too and deserved to be treated with respect just like you would want someone
to treat your mother. Women shouldn't be abused period. They feel that it is very unfair women
are not stronger than man it is a known fact. men are naturally stronger so with that being said a
woman can't beat a man up no matter how hard you fight back it's just not gonna happen. So why
sit there an beat on her if she can't really defend herself. They wonder how you feel after you feel
after doing something like that.just to sit there and repeatedly hit a woman an brutally attack her
Do men think its cool to abuse women? It seems ass men think its cool to abuse women. It seems
as if it is a trend that trends more and more every day. Abuse is an was happen everywhere from
the pro league player to the suburbs and the real poor community. You don't really think there's a
way for us to completely stop women abusing everywhere but we can stop a lot of it. The media
would say that it’s most popular in the NFl. Men feel as a man don't want to abuse women they
just don't know how to express their feeling or talk about what's going on in their life or behind
closed doors. Men just have a very different way of showing what going on or reacting to a
certain situation. Men are supposed to be the man of the family and fearless but when its
something deep in your past that comes back to haunt you it can make you feel some type of
way, and kinda dangerous because anything can trigger it at any moment. Men don't like to beat
on their women because they feel bad after the fact, but I can't really explain why they do it in
What's the most abused sport? The most abused sport is the NFL it has some of the worst
cases and they work back to back. There are so many cases of women being beaten in the NFL.
Smith 9
It's the NFL than the NBA than the MLB. The NFL have a few cases of different types of abuses
in public, behind closed doors. There has been cases back to back in the NFL that's why the NFL
has a bad reputation when it comes to women because they make it seem like its cool to beat on
them and that they wouldn't care about it happens because of the punishment that they get for
being in trouble. The punishments are so easy it makes it seem like nothing really happened, they
miss a few games then they're back on the field or they might take a few anger classes and that's
it. The NFL has been through a lot of problems with women and they continue to happen, that's
What's the punishment women abusers? The punishment for women abuser is nothing
really, too big to make them not do it again. They get small punishment like taking anger classes,
a little time in jail, or some program. The punishment cant be that bad because they might still
come home and do the same thing after a while. The main reason they don't give them a hard
punishment is that they wouldn't want them to get out and do the same thing. If you punish the
man too hard it won't change what he did or want to stop him from doing it again. You wouldn't
be actually finding out the problem on why he did it you would just be keeping it bottled up on
the inside. To change the problem is you first have to find out what the problem is, and to talk
about it to see what happen in the past that led up to that. You're supposed to prevent it from
happening again not make them hold it in to get the same results as last time that wouldn't do any
good at all.
What makes a women scared to defend herself against a man? Women are scared to
defend themselves against men because in that case, it wouldn't do any good. Men are naturally
stronger than women. You would just be making the situation worst nobody wants to get beat on
Smith 10
every day, but then again you really can't leave because then it turns into a stalker life-
threatening situation that you don't want to be in. When that happens you can be putting yourself
in danger, your family ,and kids in danger. The best thing to do is to seek help. They think they
won't win, they might love them, or they may think that they deserve it. Just think about it who
really wants to fight an NFL linebacker. You never really know what a man's going to do to you
if they get mad enough. It could also be the intimidating looks that the man give hers.
