No. No 1 Prior To Waterproofing 1.1 All the Structural & Non structural work complete as per the Latest approved GFC drawing 1.2 Parapet wall construction Complete 1.3 Provision of all the location of Downtakes & Rain water Outlets are identified 1.4 All the Rain water Out lets are provided & Kept as per the drawing 2 Check for Defects 2.1 Is there any Honey combed concrete on slab or in the column or in any structural & Non structural member 2.2 Is there any visible Cracks on the floor 2.3 Is the repairing is done as per the approved process of Honey comb repairing Is the cracks are filled up as per the process 3 Pre – Application Testing 3.1 Surface is made clean & clear 3.2 Is the laitance has removed 3.3 Brooming if done 3.4 Is surface made clean & free from all dust, Dirt & Nails 3.5 Plug all the outlets 3.6 Water ponding done for initial 24 hrs 3.7 Is there any marks observed for Leakages, Dampness, Cracks on the ceiling below 3.8 Is there any seepage observed on the wall of floor below 3.9 If yes, repairing is done 3.10 Re-tested for the effectiveness of the repair 3.11 All area below the terrace floor is Dry after re ponding 4 Application of Water Proofing chemical 4.1 Is the chemical approved for the terrace water proofing 4.2 Is the surface free from all excess water & foreign material 4.3 Is priming of surface required 4.4 Proportion of mixing with proposed material is done as per the manufacturer specification or as per the approved process 4.5 Date of Application of First coat 4.6 Minimum & maximum Interval for application of second coat 4.7 Curing by ponding 4.8 Water tightness testing by 72 Hrs. of ponding done 4.9 Is the Ceiling of floor below is dry, No wet patch, seepage etc. 4.10 Placing of pre wet Brick bats on the 25mm thk. Proportion: Bedding Mortar(C.M=1:4) mixed with Integral waterproofing compound or as per the approved proportion in Slope not flatter than 1:100 4.11 Mixing and placing of mortar mixed with approved integral water proofing compound as per the specification of Manufacturer for the joints (Min.Joint thk. 15mm) 4.12 Screed over Brick bat coba with C.M 1:4 or approved mortar proportion mixed with Integral Waterproofing compound as specified by manufacturer 4.13 Curing of top Screed over Brick bat coba by ponding 4.14 Water tightness testing of Brick bat by water pooling for 72 Hrs and check if there is any leakage observed in ceiling of floor below
