OBJECTIVE By the end of the lesson, pupils should be able to :
1) Write 3 simple sentences based on the pictures they have been picked from
the mystery box, in groups.
2) Write their favourite days and what the activities they do on that day,
individually.

ACTIVITIES Pre-lesson
1) Teacher present the song of “The Busy Week” to pupils.
2) Teacher asks pupils to sing the song of “The Busy Week” together.
3) Pupils sing the song together.

Lesson Development
1) Teacher introduces the sentence patterns to pupils. For example,
“My favourite day is Sunday. I like drawing on Sundays”.
2) Teacher drills the sentence patterns to the pupils by asking their favourite
days and what are the activities they do on that day, randomly.
3) Pupils listen to the teacher.
4) Teacher jots down the pupils’ feedback on the board by using the sentence
patterns.
5) Teacher assigns the pupils into 4 or 5 in groups.
6) Teacher asks the representative of their groups to pick one card from each
mystery box provided.
7) Pupils make sentences in groups based on the cards they have been picked
from the mystery boxes.
8) Repeat the steps 5 to 6 for three times.
9) Teacher checks the grammar mistakes and rewards the winner. Teacher also
emphasises the punctuation, capital and small letters while checking the
pupils’ work.

Post lesson
1) Teacher distributes the worksheets to pupils.
2) Pupils have to complete the worksheets, individually.
3) Teacher asks pupils to exchange their works with friends.
4) Teacher discuss the answers with the pupils.
